The kids at a friend's beach house recently...

I had to zoom in on the pic of Baby Bro because of the obvious subject of his intent gaze!!
  ;D ;D ;D

(as usual, click attached pic to turn it right-side-up)

Awwww {{{Lil Punkin }}}.
Look at that curly  red hair on Lil Bro
Cute photos.
Don't worry if the snaps are on the side as attachments. They 'right' themselves

kb - You need some kind of stone or big rock for kitty to sit on, that way no mice will get in.

tsk - Yes, alot less stressful on the other side.

baz - LOL, Baby Bro with his gaze at the food.  Cute pic of Punkin and her cut-out dolls.

clynn - I was afraid the pic would be even more confusing.  ;D  The Black Eagle looks like a pro flying. Aww, pit bull and kitty.

Puff - That is good to know for anyone that needs assistance.

Phyl - Wish I could get Jeff to move.   ::)

Have a good night, everyone!

BAZI   Lil Bro - Just love that head of hair  ;D   Think his eyes may be bigger than his tummy  LOL  Punkin' is such a pretty little girl.

CLYNN  You would have had to update A/C sooner or later as "Freon" as we know it was no longer being made for the units.  Pit bull and cat - You think so??  LOL

PUFF   You should write a book! :o

PHYL  The movie is called the Haunting in Venice based on an Agatha Christie book " the Halloween party".  You might be able to google how she got the part, and it was a primary role as well.

LISA   Tell Jeff the Beak took a vote and it was unanimous for the move  LOLOL

Lisa - hmm that's not a bad idea....kitty is very heavy btw...more than 10 pounds...but has a hole under him to the top of his head...
I do have many boulders/rocks though and with the right fit?....I also have tons of wood....I could build him a bench of some sort, not a box...
I have a hardware store.

I was just out in the garage for the last two days trying to organize.
did 3 walls, no cabinets or high shelves yet, but also threw some wood and organized it better.
I also have wood in Scott's shop over the miter saw....filled with wood.
I know how to drill...also have a hardware store of screws!

Tig - Awe, missing your parents {{Tig}}

Lani - Otis catching & enjoying his fish!  Hope you are having good temps for all the yard work you are wanting to get done - and good that you are wearing jeans for the work!   Awe, GLY Dad was back looking for Maanaki.

Kb - Yikes - those mice!  I would do as you already are thinking; either throw it away or wash & completely clean it.  You will make the right decision. :)

LisaG - I agree with you; mice give me the heebee geebees!   If you don't mind my asking, is Jeff's reason for not wanting to move across the bridge is because his work is nearby where you currently live?  He obviously has his reasons for wanting to stay put until retirement. ;)

Tsk - You are a tough girl - you kicked the soreness!

Baz - Like the pics - so cute!

I have to cut this short - hope to be back later!

Phyl, what, me worry??  8)  I know they will, but not if they aren’t “clicked on.”  ;D  Some people never click on the photo if they use a touch screen device. Sometimes they just enlarge the attached pic using touch, instead of clicking on the attachment, and in that case, the pic does not right itself. I picked up a thing or two during my 25+ year IT career designing, developing, analyzing, programming, debugging, directing, and mentoring others in computer systems and development.

I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan since my early 20s. I've read them all and seen them all  in all the many versions and actors since the 1950s on both UK and US save for this latest one.  I loved the 'Hallowe'en Party' ...So twisted.

Lisa, where do you want to move to?  I think your location is great except perhaps for medical care and shopping!   The drive will get worse with age and the process of moving will also get harder!  Hmmm.

Great joosts by all today. Thanks to all,  lani, gteat reports, clynn, wonderful pictures of the black eagles, hard to remember them
As the little

Good Evening Beakers

We had some great weather over the weekend, today was a little warmer (79) but still clear and sunny.  The football game on Sat. was delayed for 40 min. as some thunderstorms passed just south of town, but we did not even get any sprinkles.  Forecast is for low to mid 80s for the rest of the week and chance of rain on several days. - We can hope...

Royal Albatross ~ Beautiful Closeups Of Sweet UQ ♥ The Last Of The Fab Four Chicks! 9.18.23 by Lady Hawk

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNxbnxPxFRE
Sep 18, 2023
UQ chick is the last of the Fab Four chicks - NTF, Quarry and Manaaki have all fledged. UQ is the youngest of this group and is 10 days younger than Manaaki. Hopefully he will stay around for 240 days like Manaaki did before he takes that leap of faith and flies out over the ocean to meet his destiny. Enjoy some beautiful closeups of UQ as he settles in for the night in his comfy spot on the grass. Thank you for watching!

Continued from earlier!

I had to cut my post off earlier because hubby put my Mom's car up for sale a couple of days ago, and some nice folks arrived to look at it (we've had it parked in our driveway).  Anyway, all went really well, they had the cash and bought it!  My sis drove my mom over here to do the necessary paperwork.

Clynn - Love the pic of pit bull & kitty napping together. :)   Happy to know the Black Eagle Roodekrans juvie is doing well. :)

Kb - Good for you in organizing your garage - sounds like a big project as you probably have a lot of stuff out there - but it will be nice when you are done!

Tig - On no; the elevator  :(   I agree, no fun having to take that many stairs after a big dinner  ::)  Hope you get a good night's rest. :)

Oldguy - I love the VW bus!!!!  Thank you so much for the birthday post - I had to show hubby since we have a vw bus too! ;D 8)

Everyone have a good night  :)
