E4E - Hope you and Kris enjoy the fair.

kb - I am surprised that the news channels showed them cutting his clothes off down to his undies.

clynn - Oh my gosh, that is an adorable Halloween outfit.  I know Bradley and Kelly would love that.

Lani - Thanks for the link.  Sounds like nice temps for you...send them here!

karen - Oh, I can see Bradley and Kelly putting Sydney in that outfit.  ;D

tsk - Hope you are feeling a lil better.

Howdy Beakers!  :D

Yay, they caught the prison escapee, and without shots fired!

(((TSK))), glad to hear you're golden this morning... hope the soreness doesn't last long... so you can get back to doing push-ups!  ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

T40! LOL! A salt and battery!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Clynn, please explain the Subway "words of the prophet" funny... it went over my head!  ??? ;D  I was in the same business as you for much of my "Systems" career, as we have posted about before. I do drink plenty of water every day. That's usually what I drink around the house, and even in restaurants, with rare exception. And I sometimes have a glass of wine or a cocktail.  ;) In winter, I sometimes enjoy drinking hot tea, and I have coffee in the mornings daily. I used to make iced tea to keep in the fridge in summer, but since my fridge was on the blink this summer, I haven't had any. I don't really care to drink carbonated beverages anymore, except very rarely, usually as a mixer, and it's usually diet ginger ale, when I do.  ;)  Drinking mostly only water is just a habit I have gotten into, and I have no feeling of depriving myself. I used to put down a couple of Diet Cokes every day  when I worked - usually with a pack of peanut M&Ms or a Snickers bar out of the vending machine. LOLOL! That habit was easily dropped after I was no longer working, thankfully.  ;D  My LGN's kindergarten (same school as her pre-K last year) is a really neat place - a wonderful physical environment for learning, of indoor and outdoor space, full of nature, too, as you got a glimpse of in that picture. Nature is often incorporated into their lessons. I'm so glad she has been able to experience it. Unless something changes, she will head to public school starting with 1st grade, next year. I hope they live in a district with a good school to go to then.

Gotta run...

Take care, All.

Yup Yoda is his name.

He got to 'snack' on a Brazil Nut for breakfast.  ;)
Hopefully he gets a nice juicy PA steak for dinner.  :)

CLynn tks for Sydney Sea eagle cam update photo; Dad retired after working there since 1953. The cancer was discovered when he was 6yrs from retirement.
When he told his boss how weak and tired it often made him, he was taken off mandatory overtime duty as it was all he could do to hold down his regular
hours. I never once saw him look sad or feel sorry for himself. He kept his sense of humor and smile, above all he was brave.
Few men I'll ever admire, Dad's at the top!

Tsk so glad you're 'golden' and doing better. Didn't realize you wore glasses all the time. Sure don't want to damage those too expensive like everything else.

BL PA escapee nabbed and Aajob well done ---definitely agree that 'Yoda' gets a big ,thick juicy Porterhouse from the best steakhouse in PA!.  What a *sigh* of relief for all concerned.

Tig that's what I was gonna post "one on the left is money laundering

Hi  E4E thanks

               didn't work for me.

Lani, thanks for the link to the news article, I sent it to my friend...  ;D  I drink ice tea all day long, but I guess it doesn't count as water, maybe.  ;D I have found yes and no answers on that one! At least it's not soda! (Except with my adult beverage...) I may try some of these, 7 water substitutes:  https://www.sheknows.com/health-and-wellness/slideshow/9614/beverages-that-count-toward-your-daily-water-intake/1/

tig, my shower mat does have suction cups, I just didn't press them down first.  :o Is there a special reason for a clear mat? Mine is blue...

baz, Puff from Simon & Garfunkel's song Sounds of Silence (a play on words...) Sorry, I thought for sure you were all Simon & Garfunkel fans!  https://www.bing.com/videos/search?pglt=41&q=lyrics+sounds+of+silence+simon+and+garfunkel&cvid=55fd140a34af4e73a8ac81f6ad6f4c87&aqs=edge.0.69i59j69i57j0l5j69i64.9859j0j1&PC=U531&ru=%2fsearch%3fpglt%3d41%26q%3dlyrics%2bsounds%2bof%2bsilence%2bsimon%2band%2bgarfunkel%26cvid%3d55fd140a34af4e73a8ac81f6ad6f4c87%26aqs%3dedge.0.69i59j69i57j0l5j69i64.9859j0j1%26FORM%3dANNTA1%26PC%3dU531&view=detail&mmscn=vwrc&mid=41F6E84DE604EE83978641F6E84DE604EE839786&FORM=WRVORC

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
In tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence
..

Lisa, lots of baby giraffe Halloween costumes out there, just Google it!

kb, you can endlessly look at abandoned buildings on youtube, ones that should have been saved. This one particularly intrigued me: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=bennett+college+ny+youtube&docid=603492335904840423&mid=761D9E30611042959D6A761D9E30611042959D6A&view=detail&FORM=VIRE    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bennett_College_(New_York)    Very sad that it lays in ruins...

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Doc's office called earlier---retest reveals  a moderate case of anemia.   Is that all? Well.  :)
He never listens' to me about taking  SlowFe like I do.  The nurse readvised  him to
take the iron supplement and add B12 daily.  I'm starting him on every thing tonight and then daily in AMs. I'm also packing his lunch with liverwurst sandwich
just the way he likes it several times a week!  He smiled.

CLynn  I remember that old S and G song  ;) Agree, a play on words.  ;)
Something ominous about abandoned buildings---the walls  and passages speak like voices from the past.

OK on the cartoons.  But now it's getting tricky - two jokes at a time.  Late in the day, too.

I've been thinking too of comments being posted about falling and bathroom preparedness.
A point I read recently, probably paid attention because I'm short.

When you place the bar that goes inside the shower area it should not be horizontal.  It should be at a slant.  This would allow for shorter people and/or for people are in the process of falling down.  Makes sense?

some bounce
(TSK)
Baz... sorry I missed that you posted the cartoon answer
(Jim) - I have been adding molasses to my cereal lately
Clynn - not special to be clear, just being descriptive, LOL
Puff - I've seen some at a slant. Ours is horizontal... it nicely holds the clear (LOL) bath mat until it is dry.

Trying out a new place. We may experience electronics withdrawal. LOL. https://www.grandportage.com/index.php/staying/cabins
Hoping to see lots of stars and wildlife...
