Baz, my temps are now like yours and there is now very little chance of rain!  Sat out a bit talking to crew and am dripping wet!   Thank heavens for ac!
What do you think the filling for Loris cake is?love the beach pictures!

Karen, I'm guessing that cake filling is the same as the frosting - cream cheese, her description said... plus the blueberries. Mmmm.

Hi Bazi! Thank  you so much for posting the Lemon Blueberry cake recipe Lani!  :-* Hi Karen, the cake I posted is a little different as far as the filling goes, it is made with wild blueberry jam and fresh blueberries... here is that recipe also!

All...

Inside safe from mowing. Camper helped with the discharge shoot B4 he left for an appt. Then... the concrete guy was nice and opened the gate for me, and his nephew helped when I had trouble removing the battery. One needs to push down hard on a lever with both thumbs.

Internet is back on!  I left my car at the dealership and they drove me home. I hope they fix the glitchy little computer screen! Haven't heard from them yet...

I called the vet to make an appointment for Honey tomorrow afternoon... she didn't eat near as much yesterday and hardly any this morning. I think it's time, and there I go tearing up again. I just don't want her to suffer through the weekend...

Pictures of the kids yesterday and at the Fair yesterday evening:

Lani, thanks for the Bear Study, I love reading and picturing Lynn's words...

My sister Cathy and her husband Steve were just starting a vacation in Hot Springs AR when he fell and broke his hip last Thursday. I think he is getting released today and Cathy will drive them  back home to Rockwall (Dallas suburb). Well, that was a great vacation.

I think I need to take a nap!

Phyl - Beautiful pic from Flyway.  Thanks for the RRP blogs.

tsk - Prayers for Lynn's husband.  I did good at the Amish Market.  A pic of my some of my goodies from the market.  I bought a Cranberry Orange Walnut loaf.  I cannot wait to have a piece.  I got Jeff a quarter piece of peanut butter pie, and some chocolate Whoopie pies to send to a friend, that send me some homemade peach jam from a farmers market near her home.  I also got us some lunch while there.  They make the best fried chicken and potato wedges.

((clynn)) - I'm sorry to hear about Honey not eating, but you are doing the right thing in not wanting her to suffer.  Hope they can get your car fixed.  Great pic of the munchkins.  Sorry to hear about your BIL.

kb - Oh, I forgot that you had Sjogren's syndrome.  I hope you are feeling ok.

E4E - Thank you, and again, good luck to Mom!

tig - How sweet of Camper  :-*

Lani - Thanks, and thanks for the bear study update.

baz - Waving to ya!!

Ollie and I took our walk this morning.....came across a young walker approaching us. She moved a titch over for us but stopped to ask about him....Not normally the kind of person I'd take that much notice of....Rings in her nose and all over....Ollie did bark but we stopped and I told her that's his way of acknowledging her as his tail was wagging....She stopped and we chatted while Ollie jumped up to kiss her....She wanted to know what kind of dog he was and she was a foster of dogs so not to worry..I told her and she said that's why I noticed him....a kind interaction between generations not normally interactive.....Ollie man brought us together!
He does that often, btw.

Mowed the front, etc. but didn't water as the wind is so strong.....will do tomorrow.

Lisa - what a find!..I have a zoom meeting with my DR next week, Thursday...if I can last, teehee.
tsk - of course.

Lani, enjoyed this mornings bear report!  Love their family inter action!

Phyl, have noticed a few lighten bugs in my yard the past few days!  Nothing like they were when I was a kid! Something else we have ruined on the earth!   Tsk startanother nursery!

Lori, thanks for the second cake recipe!   How is Grandma doing?

E4E,  is you mom out of surgery?  Waiting to hear how she is doing.

kb I had that problem of a "clogged" salivary gland a few years ago, very uncomfortable.

The cure/trick that fixed it for me was to suck on lemon drop candies.

A day later problem solved.   :)

TIG   So the concrete guys have started prepping?  Good that they were so helpful.  I'm getting so short now that I have to ask at the grocery for a tall person passing by to reach an item for me  LOLOL

CLYNN  Oh NO - Hugs to you all tomorrow -we all know what it is like but terribly sad every time.   Fun time with Grandma at the park on their last Grandma/Grandpa day before school.  Oh my gosh  - then there is Cathy's husband breaking his hip.  What is going on???

LISA  I'd buy that bread in a heart beat!!!   warmed or toasted with butter

KB   Does this new walker live nearby?  Does she foster both cats and dogs?

Friend Lynn just called me - Bill transferred to ICU - He may not last the night - Lynn and I both sobbing.  What a day.

Oh Tsk!  That is so sad!  Prayers!
Forgot about the broken hip!  Years ago a fruend of mines parents retired, sold their home in Milwaukee, put things they wanted to keep in Storage got an rv and started traveling allover to see where they would like to settle down! When they got to San Diego, the woman broke her ankle.  As it was a real complicated break they thought it best to stay there until the healing was almost complete.   They thought the medical car was awesome, found a retirement community they liked, got movers to get the stuff in storage.  Never left SD. Too bad clynns sister didn't stay in Hot Springs!   Might have liked it!  Life takes funny twists and turns.
Tsk!  I have to find folks to get stuff off of the top shelf too.  Having the same problem at home!
