TSK, oops, I also meant to say... It looks like Lulu has a bead on something in the yard!  :D   Yep, little boy with a busted chin = badge of honor??  ;)  :D Luckily, not serious.  :-*

Howdy Y'all !

Late this  AM, literally had a mini 'hurricane' blow through here for about 30 mins. Then a lovely steady rain followed until about 2:30pm. Then on the t ail
end had a gentle rain for about 45mins. When that let up the air became increasingly warm and humid. We decided to  pack up the cushions and take our coffee cups
inside with us. Nope no breakfast as it was so late ---we had sat under the porch since 11: 25 AM. The weather had been wonderfully cool and inviting---waving at all our neighbors as they drove to and fro---getting honks and waves in return. And, just having a good chat between ourselves.
Tonight having a smorgasbord of leftover homemade lasagna, spaghetti w/ meatballs and pizza supreme; romaine salad olive oil vinaigrette a Peroni each. For after's Jim get the last slice of chocolate fudge cake.

Lisa- cute Tuxedo cat this AM; your poor Mom with that fever I think she needs at least urgent care.  Virtual kiss on cheek from me to her.

CLynn- luv the AM cats today---esp the middle one with the 'do rag'.  Jim's 1st wife was a cat person and the last cat was named  'Pyewacket' for the brown seal point in the 50's film 'Bell Book and Candle'. I don't Helen realize that this name belonged to the feline familiar of an alleged witch accused by the claimed Witchfinder General Matthew Hopkins in March 1644 in the town of Manningtree, Essex, England.  But, then maybe so.  :-\
I digress it's been easy for me to have my cats and they've all known when I call out 'Jim' and they done wrong to skedaddled. LOL
Really enjoyed reading about 'Bone Gap'  Chowder doings, your Dad and what an honor you have delivering  the prayer and Grace! God be with you.
Cat style Livingroom furniture how cool!

KB-- what a relief you home is 'fine' no damages .

Tks-- what a hoot Tim and the freezer paper wrapped burgers. So you still had a nice night, music and all.  ;)  Lulu on the upstairs ledge. Reminds me of Mike before i started putting  basketed ledge ivy up in that spot.

Lani- LOL kitty gazing longingly at goldfish bowl.

Lisa--  As you know,  101 F isn't a good temp for a little old lady.      At least she's drinking fluids to flush out the sickness .   Right?    Anyway I have  🙏  candle lit

CLynn- tks for Wild Heart Ranch update/photo;  cool photo of your  Dad and Uncle Jack  at the chowder fest.  And Tsk yep! Claire would love the couch.

Bazi-childhood injuries souvenirs of a healthy active  youth.   ;)   Every scar is truly a 'badge of honor' .

Lori- nice to see you.  LOLToonces behind the wheel.   What do you think about Lisa and Newman?  Sure hope they get 'it' together.  ;)

T40- tks for the links will view later tonight

Tig-hope your Bro's drum and bugle corps benefit goes well.

This is absolutely  the truth and ...why I shut the cats up when I paint. Fearful that one of them will 'dip a paw', when caught scamper off all over the house!

Good caturday posts today!  Clynn, enjoyed the picture of your Dad and Uncle  tending to the chowder!
Good cartoons!  ThAt must be a n English uber driver,  think the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car!  Lolol
Lisa, wonder why Mama will not see a doctor!  Might make her feel better! Will she be making a trip to Maryland to meet her great grand daughter?
There have been many  articles about the garbage in our oceans!   Terrible.  There was a cleanup on the west coast years ago and the organizers said that they had not made a dent in the scope of the problem.
Seds  all!

Lani - Oh my - New products brought in, but there were still the same kind of products in the garage ready for use! :o ::) So sad to spend unnecessarily. ::)

Phyl - Love your 'Caturday' image this morning!  Love the story of the police officer adopting the kitty - such a wonderful story!!   Sounds like you & Jim are enjoying your porch furniture on your lovely porch no matter what the weather might be!  Enjoy your yummy dinner tonight!

LisaG - Your Mom sounds like a very strong person - something tells me that she will be okay!! ;D

Clynn - Will you agree to do the honors and give the prayer before the chowder is served?  That is really quite the honor!  Love the pic of Judge Judy  ;D

Tsk - Lol! There were 2-burgers in the freezer that Tim didn't know about! ;D  Love the pic of Lulu!!

Tig - Your folks preparing the booya for your Brother's drum & bugle benefit  ;D

Lori - Love your post/gifs today!! ;D

Karen - You are right - so much garbage/plastic stuff ending up in the oceans.  A few months ago, watched 60 minutes on this topic and it was very sad. >:(

All have a nice evening.  Continued thoughts & prayers for all in the Lahaina Maui HI fire tragedy.  We did donate to the American Red Cross.
