LisaG - You are doing an exceptional job with caring for Misty - you & Jeff are special folks.  :)

Kb - Ordering dinner to be delivered sounds like a perfect evening for Chris' birthday! Enjoy! ;D

Lani - Oh no, poor Mike has terrible allergies especially because of the blooming junipers.  Does 'Claritin' help him at all?  I sure hope he gets relief after the shot he will receive.  Thanks for cam pics!

Hi Baz - Cute birthday post for Chris!

Tsk - That is too bad about the lady who is creating such a terrible atmosphere of crying out and screaming.  Poor Tim, he is NOT going to get any rest while she is there.  Unfortunately, he won't get any real good rest until he goes home.  Thoughts & prayers go out to you & Tim. {{Tim & Tsk}}

Lori - Thank you for the wonderful cam pics!   Thank you for posting that Clynn is home!!  Happy to know you are feeling better. Hugs.

Phyl - Wonderful cam pics!  You & Jim each have a delicious dinner tonight!  Thanks for Amy's blog.

Clynn - Yaaay!  Happy to know you are back home.  Have a good evening and I'm sure we will see you tomorrow! :-*

Karen - Happy to know you have settled back into your home and that you can now get better rest and sleep as needed!

Everyone have a good night & sleep well.  :)

"Seriously Newman?"  as Savanna looks at the camera in disbelief...

Lori - ROFL!  ;D

I've only actually walked across a few major rivers.

The image taker said, wow slow down dude.

I walk across slimy river rocks/logs like they are solid ground never looking down - eyes laser focused - A to B.

Eyes forward on the trail wit full pack on.

Nary a wet sock above the boot cuff did get.

Hello  Everyone  and...

Now  47F.    Today 67F  breezy. And, tonight 45F clear skies.

Jim will take my table tops (coffee and side tables minus legs),  we loaded last eveing, to the glass shop on Thompson Lane in Nashville, for measuring and hopefully before long I
;ll have new 'tops' for my livingroom furniture.

I suspect our BBs have fledged---so like them, to sneak that in when we’er not watching . Will have to take a snap  of nesting box to confirm. Then they'll attend 'Flight School' for about a week before 'graduation' on our deck rail---I hope.

{{{Tsk/Tim}}} prayers continue for good news all the way around

Lisa hopefully kittens born today.

Hi Karen nice to see your post yesterday evening. Hopefully you can find a 'handy man' to help out w/ things. Good luck w/the plants---costs for such here are doubled---lost some azaleas to that hard frost---my own fault as didn't cover them. Will have to wait and see which revive and which do not.

BL, gorgeous photo !

All in Chat  and I know that #7 isn't viable...been too long.  I've had that aching feeling for sometime and even said as much. My heart is so sad and heavy. Audacity and Jak are such good eagle parents.
When this pair will give up on #7, I'm not sure.

I know. They will. I've been watching this nest for 6 years now and they are my "home" nest, the pair that I was first introduced to on Explore. And I love them very much, but having seen so many losses with them has taken a toll on my heart. We anthropomorphize shamelessly and I have gotten much better over the years in resisting that tendency! But I still feel sad and pained when I watch them incubate, roll and care for an egg that well never hatch. But your comment is very kind and caring. Thank you.

I need some good nest news today...actually a miracle at Sauces. I love this nest so very, very much...second year in a row for them with non-viable eggs.
Some one in Chat said that an egg that doesn't break isn't viable----seems like a loose/loose for Sauces.  :(

Lisa sure hope you have kittens today.  That'd be such great news.

GOOD WINTRY MORNING EVERYONE

32 and feels like 20.  High 39 today.  All winter coats packed away  LOL

LORI  that apple fritter looks great - I'm starving for breakfast  LOL  Thanks for the Decorah gifs  :) and GSB pics - funny captions  ;D ;D  Those eggs are beautiful.   Thanks LORI for letting us know CLYNN is home safe.  Hope she didn't run into the bad weather as she went west.

TIG  What makes it even sadder is that staffing is so minimal.  He has a wonderful Bulgarian male nurse who is as attentive as he can possibly be.  I hate hospitals as well as does Tim.

BL  Would love the challenge of that crossing  ;)  Beautiful scene.

PHYL  Do you put glass tops on the tables?  Too bad about #7   Quite a bit of snow in Decorah

When I left hospital at 5 last night,  I noticed the lady had been moved!!!  Sure hope hubby got a good nights sleep.  Angiogram is at 1 PM today - that should give us some answers...

BL ... Me thinks I have made that crossing. Just easier when much younger and no pack.  8)  Lovely
TSK ... Fingers crossed. I took 1 melatonin last night. It helped.

Good Morning Beakers!

It's good to be home! Ran into a few flurries on the way home, mostly a light rain. Nothing on the ground. And then my pc wouldn't start! My technical advisor (Erin) made an emergency trip to check it out and decided after checking everything that it was a power problem. He took the hard drives home and checked them out, they are fine. So I will be ordering a new one today and in the meantime will use this laptop. I can't go as fast on this laptop...

karen, good that you are home, you will be getting better and better!

Phyl, I am so sad to hear about #7... Wonderful pictures of the birds and the snow!

tsk, hope Tim is home soon!  I have a very good friend who is from Bulgaria, her name is Vesselina. She calls me her American Mom (I am a year older than her Mom), she got her citizenship last year. She is in Bulgaria now, her Mom has terminal cancer and nothing more they can do. There I am, off on a tangent. Anyway, prayers for Tim, loots of prayers...

Lori, thanks for all the great pictures!  You are a peach, and I love peaches! Hope you are feeling better!

Lani, oh no, Mike's allergies...it's that time again!

Lisa, are you the midwife this morning?st checking... ;D

E4E, Harley and Honey were ignoring me for a while when I got home, but all is well now! Glad to hear Star is keeping on keeping on!

kb, BL, oldguy, baz & tig, hello!

Cool video of a man who separated two eagles after a territorial flight in Alaska while his wife filmed it.
Both eagles were fine and the second one did fly off even though not caught on video.

Ugg, woke up to more snow on my previously cleaned decks from yesterday....need to add about 3 inches on top of our already 90 for the season....

Morning all...and thanks Lori for yesterday's bd wish....
