Want to say thanks for the nest updates and photos; Good news for Bandit; Lahaina is worse than a tragedy---it's a crime, a sin.
Thanks for the links and all.

"Getting old is not for sissies," has been Dan's email signature for 20 years.  ;)

Safe travels to all Beakers and family. BL you're so fortunate. But, you already know this.  ;)

But suffice to say Dan is hanging in there and so is Jim; Maggie's fine for her health.

Some PC issues to iron out tonight. :(

'Tomorrow's another day!" ;)

Sending kind wishes for a 'Good Evening' and SEDs

BL - Wow!! I value the compliment!! ;D   Thank you for vid!!

Kb - While standing inside the bus you unlatch the top and push the top up.  But to do this, hubby stands on the counter top to be able to reach, then he can push the top up and it is ready for someone to sleep on the upper bed!
Good for you in cleaning & washing out the box - big job, but good that you got it done!

Lani - Love Jani & cubs - Thank you Lynn Rodgers.  Don't like the spiders  ::)   Thank you for posting Otis!   Our local early morning news showed the beautiful new green leaves on the Banyan tree!!

Clynn - You should ask Ed where you should make your camping reservation! ;) ;D   Seriously tho, I know Ed likes to get a good deal, and obviously he got a good deal on the sleeping bag! ;D

Tig - Nice to get a couple of perks for the elevator snafoo.

LisaG - That is wonderful good news with Bandits blood panel results!!   Can't believe Jeff has not wanted to move closer to his work - what a commute!! :o  I just read you have a high property tax - almost sounds like CA - high property tax here too. :o :(

Tsk - No, Kris does not show (vw bus) very often, maybe once a year.

Kb - Perfect setting; you can sit out and read and if anything is out of the ordinary your Ollie will alert you!!

Puff - Thank you for sharing - stay safe.

Karen - Yes! Hubby had done what he could to ensure Mom's car looked as good & clean as possible before the prospective buyer came by.  My mom would not have been able to sell her car by herself, her SIL (my hubby) handled everything except that she went to AAA today to take care of part of the sale, and then she went to DMV to finalize everything.   She tried to share some of the money with hubby, but he refused!

Oldguy - Kris loved the link and he said he has watched it before!!  Very good!!! ;D   Good for the rain you've had!

Baz - Lol! Ed's sleeping bag and 'glamping'!!

Phyl - Hope you get your PC issues ironed out.  Hope you have a yummy dinner planned tonight. :)

Beakers have a good evening  :)

My mom, sis, & myself all have Sep birthdays, so today they came over and we had good appetizers, & drinks and sat outside under our gazebo and enjoyed the warm weather and had a wonderful time.

Hi Beakers,
If you can stand more pics of the car show we took the vw bus to back in Aug. 2022, here you go.  This was at the Kiwanis car show in Carmel Valley, CA.

This is me standing at the car show.

This is my beloved sweet little Star as we took her almost everywhere with us.

Inside pic (don't' know who the fellow is looking in window)!

Lisa, great news for Bandit and you. Now you can sleep well tonight.  :-*. UGH Taxes  :(

{{{Puff}}}

Tig, glad you and Camper are safe home.  :)

Karen, UQ has been working hard today. He's practiced his hovering, there was one moment there as he headed out of sight down to the shore, I thought this might be it...and then the poor sweetie was making his long walk back up the hill to his nest. around 3:14pm New Zealand time, which was 45 minutes ago Central time, Albies starting flying about, UQ started calling to them and then he turned left and started running. One of his parents (I hope) flown in, and spent 10 minutes feeding and being with him. He's settled back on his nest with a full tummy.  :-* ....  thank you again for sending me the Banyan Tree article. Life goes on ....  :-*  We leave our hummingbird feeders up year round... I bring it in at night so it won't freeze.

Oldguy, Gabriel Iglesias has a stunning VW collection... oh my thanks for the flyby story. I'm sending to Mike.

Tsk, please send your rain our way.

SED Baz, Peace be with you too  :-*

{{{SED Phyl, Jim, Maggie, Dan}}} No, ""Getting old is not for sissies," a good signature for all of us... I hope you can fix the PC issues.

BL you must be going to Alaska? Hunting? safe travels.

Eagles, What a fun and special evening for you, your mom and sis "Happy birthday and best wishes!"🎂! Mike's family, his dad, mom, grandmother, brother and Mike are Scorpios November birthdays. Our family gathering had over 20-30 for one birthday celebration for all. Love your pics of the VW, neat little kitchen...  and your sweet Star  :-* ...

Good night!
A few pics I captured today.
Around 3pm New Zealand time, which was 8pm Central time, adult albies started flying above and around the island. UQ started calling to them....
UQ sees a parent and starts running and calling  :-*

A nice long 10 minute feeding

"Excuse me" another parent is walking by as UQ's parent continue feeding and spending time with him

UQ returns to the nest with a full tummy for the night and a happy heart  :-*

Oh oh!..hard to move Midwest grain south due to drought and higher costs....the massive winter snows in Minnesota didn't help and caused silt when there was temporary flooding with spring melt.

Lani - oh great pictures and am so happy UQ was fed!....thanks for the pictures.

Morning all, happy Wednesday...
Andrew may be here today or tomorrow to help me tie up my northern row of arbors...9 of them, use up more prior roofing tin on shed, and put a boulder or two where I want to prevent driving on my property.

One more visit after that for rabbit proof fencing and gutter clean and then switch to getting ready for winter.
