Clynn, we woke up to two inches of snow this morning. It'll be gone tomorrow. Nice pics of the munchkins  awww kangaroo cub, good luck to mom and baby 

Eagles, glad you didn't feel the earthquake and no damage. I love grits with butter and salt... I just noticed your good night pic was a gif, I thought I was imagining it. 

Lisa, Bandit wanted his condo returned    ... Aly had a nice birthday, even had a good week at work with her clients. Shannon came up late today for our birthday. The four of us went to the casino, had dinner and played the slots for a bit. Mike did well, we made sure he didn't have to use steps, he can't do that anymore.  Aly did the driving. It was nice to be out together. 

Tsk, I read on SWFL cam website  "E22's eyes look clearer tonight."

BISCHUE   How terrible that a father and son die within a year of each other.  Yes I remember that you could not go last year.  Nice that you could get there now.   Well we all do "stupid" things and spend a lot of time trying to resolve.  Pray you can get your eye problem resolved.  Eyes are everything.

Phyl, good cat shames! Love the pics of the North couple and the Sauces couple, so sweet...  And Sylvester & Tweety, that briomgs back memories of childhood, Saturday morning cartoons! A hug for you and your memories of your Mom, you two were very close, I can tell... 

tsk, we had some sun yesterday, 28 right now, high 30.  Maybe a little more snow tonight... How are you feeling this morning?

Lani, thank you so much for the video of the return of the albatross chick to the nest! I love the way Mum wiggled her tail when that handsome guy put her baby in the nest and she settled down on him. So sweet! So glad you got to have some good time with all of your family for the birthdays! Great good night picture!

kb, love Ron Carlson's picture of the eagles! Spectacular! Great comparison of a juvenile to an adult, we don't often get to see a juvenile's beautiful feathers like that!  The winter Robin with the fish is a rare sight as well!

E4E, glad you had a good time at your luncheon! It is nice to see old friends, that is the only thing I missed about retirement, friends...I ran into my old boss of several years ago in the grocery store last week, it was nice to talk to him, I hadn't seen him for quite a while.

clynn - Love that Caturday pic!  We are the same temp as you all this morning, and the clouds look like it may snow, but I doubt it!

Plus It's Caturday - Can't miss Caturday!

E4E  If there's a better choice. . .When I travel I don't live below my means at home.  Why travel and settle for less than I've worked my entire life trying to get; why put up with less than I have, what I deserve, and left?  Why settle for $less$ and call it a vacation?

The opposite I consider "an adventure".  And I've done those, too.  I'll never forget the fuss my SIL made at the cabin at the North Rim of Grand Canyon. Clean, yes; a view to die for, yes; lucious food and setting at the lodge restaurant with 30 ft wooden ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows, yes; a humungeous deck overlooking that indescribable hole in the ground; the scent of pine not from a bottle or candle.  Her complaint - no phone or TV in the cabin.  Is there even a word that covers that remark???  I did my mule ride the next morning (alone) got  into the car to zip back to Sedona whirlpool room.  Ton and I went back the next year to do what we missed:  petrified forest, float down the Colorado River to the Glen Canyon Dam, and had to do at least one trail on the North Rim.  Fun talking to other like-minded souls on that deck sharing their days' adventures.

CLYNN  By the end of the day today it will be 5 days since the injection.  I am no better.  Too early I guess to expect improvement. I'll be patient.  Made a pot of chili mostly sitting this AM  LOL    Those 2 cats in a closet  LOLOL  Didn't see them at first.     Speaking of murder mittens - reviewed some YouTube vids this AM in prep for cutting this little fidgety missy's nails.  .  Think we may try the burrito method  LOL.. Working up our courage.

PUFF   I would have loved that Grand Canyon trip both times.  Went there as a family but never spent much time.

Morning Puff, you lucky girl! Both cats were scratching at my mattress at 5:30 this morning. And Sadie growling at them to stop.... your trip to the north Rim of Grand Canyon sounds like a bit of heaven to me. We should have done that while Mike was able. What a fun trip with Ton.

Clynn, isn't it amazing how easily Albatross mom L accepts the chick. No hatching time under her... just here's your baby!  LOL! I wish human moms had it so easy. LOL! ... Love your Caturday pics!! The cats in the closet LOL!!! .. it was 19 degrees when we headed out the door at 7am for our morning walk. 🥶. There was snow on the side of the road and trails that Sadie loved digging her nose into.

Tsk, how are you feeling today? Sweet pretty Lulu looks so relaxed and looking forward to another Caturday!  ... Just read your last post, sorry to hear you feel no better.  ... burrito method maybe, but maybe you should get a stranger to do the holding, then Lulu will be more forgiving of the method. LOL! I'm such a coward about that. I leave it for the vets. Gosh, I could even watch my girls get their shots.

Phyl, Fun Caturday cat shames, nice pic of Sauces and the Norths...  lovely memories of your mom. You had a special relationship which was a blessing for you, not everyone is so blessed.

Eagles, Nothing like relaxing at a hotel such as you described. ugh, I need a vacation LOL! 

{{{Hugs Blschue}}} How sad about the loss of a close family friend's son, both passed away so close in time to each other. It's good you were able to attend his son's funeral. My sympathy for your loss.... we all do silly things, Lord knows lately I've been doing things that makes me mad at myself. Or walking into rooms and forgetting why I went there in the first place... sigh, it's my once organized mind getting ahead of myself.    ... I pray your eyes can be repaired and healed.
