TGIF Beakers!
Morning Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Lisa, sending prayers to new mama Kelly for a healing and restful day. As well as prayers for Dad Bradley who can now get some sleep.  :) ... You and Jeff take some time for yourself too, after you get a chance for a peek/cuddle with your new grandbaby and a hug with your son/DIL! All will be well after a good rest. Take care  :-*

Eagles, so glad to hear your sister is doing well and your mom is comfortably waiting for her surgery.  :)

Hi Karen and Piper  :-*

Tsk, good luck at Subaru

Clynn, beautiful pic of DH2. That look and stance of DH2 reminds me of our D1va  :-* !  ... love the dog/kitty pic. {{{Honey}}}

Puff, Hawaii has a main hospital for obstetrics and maternity services. Honolulu's Queen's Medical Center (use to be known as Queen Kapiolani - Shannon was born here) was very strict last year when my sister's oldest daughter had her first born. My sister/BIL decided to wait to see baby and daughter when she was able to come home. I just checked their rules online. 2 visitors at a time, but the visiting hours are now 8am-8pm, no masks needed unless mother/or doctor requests it... Love your aunty story and so true about first time moms, the difference between Shannon and Aly is like night and day. I was so protective of Shannon and with my MIL's guidance I was wore out. So that by the time Aly came around, I was relaxed, and she was such a happy baby always making her own joy, walking around barefooted in pampers/sun top, bringing in a hose into our dining room and watering the carpet. Or she would be  digging holes under the backyard Willow tree looking for the lady bug's home and all she found was a mole. Eating out of the cat food dish or once I found a bee buzzing in her mouth! She had more bumps and bruises before she was 2 and loved every minute of it!   :o  She was our adventuresome baby! fun memories!

Kb, Amazing artistry by the little Japanese Puffer fish. Yes, don't we wish all city engineers had its skill and determination to get it right the first time!  ;D. Have a great day!  ;D

Phyl, thanks for posting about International Clouded Leopard Day. Absolutely gorgeous creature!

Lani - laughed out loud at the visual of Aly watering your dining room carpet!...and the rest as well..

Luv the side-eye on that pup in the vehicle too....

I'm done outside for the day already....it's now a feels like 96 as the dew point climbed fast since this morning. But, got a long Ollie man walk in, and watered both front and back yards..
Yes, they say we might get our first old fashioned rain this weekend...like rain for a few days, but I believes it when I sees it...

We had a nice rain t his AM. With prospects for more and more all week long. It may dry out enough for Jim to finish mowing when he gets home. We shall see.

E4E- I've spent the AM looking for 'item's  in Beakroom I may have missed ...so glad your sis is doing well. Keeping your mom in prayers for the 17th.

Lani- LOL bulldog ; LOL growing up memories of Aly/Shannon...esp    Aly watering the carpet.  Of course I enjoy your 'critter' updates .

{{{Lisa, Jeff,  Bradley, Sydney Alice and Kelly}}}  An exhausting day for all --- esp. Sydney Alice and her mom.

{{{Lori}}}- how's your Grandma and the  family?

KB- glad Ollieman got his walk in before it got too hot.

tsk - Yes, 41 minutes into Aug. 4  ;D  There was one pic that Bradley sent, and I could see Kelly and then there was another he sent and I could see him. So, maybe a mixture of both.  Glad to hear you got all of your questions answered. Mmmm, Culver's!

Phyl - Most of the pics that I have got, Sydney has been sleeping.  Kelly and Bradley both got a lil nap, he said.

kb - We  had a nice misty drizzle this morning.  It was supposed to be only for an hour, but it lasted for four hours.

Lani
- Thank you  :-*

Imagine being able to do this for a parent!....has me bawling tears.

Dad sees a car in a restaurant parking lot that looks like his old one, which he had to sell to support the family. He gets emotional, sharing stories, and then the daughter surprises him by handing him the keys. ❤️🚗

Kb, that link will not open!

Lisa, do you have
Bradley's baby pictures out?   You can see if you have s double!   Lol,  i have to ask, is Alice a family name?  I knew one Alice other than Alice in Wonderland!  My middle name is after my aunt and a great aunt!   Not a fan.

Just went to a produce stand a few blocks from here!  I never knew it was there,   Not cheaper  than the regular store but I got some good looking tomatoes, red potatoes, bicolor corn and a sweet onion.  Will go. Back and there is a meat market next door I will stop in amd see what they have.  Read they have cooked ribs.

Lisa- I took a child growth and development class as part of curriculum  qualifying for Teacher's Assistant in class room , a few 'moons'  ago.   The RN instructing the class at the certifying community college , said babies have a growth pattern of  or up and out   or .'length by width'   And, yes ,your Sidney will be sleeping most of the time.   So glad her parents got some rest.

Tsk-  ;)  getting all your questions answered . Yum lunch out.

Karen- I was wondering the same about 'Alice'.   Yum, cooked ribs---BBQ ?

Kb -love that video of Dad getting  look a like car he had to sell for the family. How wonderful of his daughter. I cried.

LISA

Meaning: Sydney means “wide meadow,” “Saint Denis,” and “from this place.” Gender: Sydney is a unisex name, but it is more popularly used as a name for girls. Origin: Sydney is of French and Old English origin.

TGIF Beakers

88 here this afternoon with dew point of 72 - AQI is decent at 39.  It has been a week since last rain (.14) - grass is going brown again - hoping for rain this weekend.

Working this weekend - rain should keep the temps down - most of the department this week is working on getting Halloween set up.

The Iceland volcano is almost done - no lava visable above the cone inside the cone - all drainage has been to underground tunnels, so no way to verify if any lava is still coming up.
