Now 55 F mostly clear .  High of 65F .  Evening/night 34F  partly cloudy .
Had an extremely windy night with a wind advisory coninuing.

Hi!  I need to catch up in here... Mom is doing just fine.  Things get a little tense during storms for her and Harlee & Salem but she is a strong fighter and will be ok.

These were still made in the 60s. I loved mine---always had to sweep the sidewalk off before hand to clear the  fine dirt .
But, it was worth the extra effort. 



Then one day Dan brought home two skateboards that he made in wood shop for himself and Larry.
He let me ride his and I was hooked!!!
It took my parents a year before they gave permission for me have one ---
Dan made one for me his last year in high school and brought it home to me .   Just  two years before he enlisted in USAF volunteering and leaving for VietNam.

This one, below, happens to be a vintage Nash skateboard, circa 1960's for sale on Etsy.

Good Morning Beakers!



We have around 5" of snow is my guess, from looking out the window...it is so beautiful ! Bella and I had a fun time yesterday, we painted, which she loves and she 'washed' dishes in the sink for almost an hour! Erin used to love that when he was little! Of course she got wet and had to change clothes.



31 here, looks like we are going to get a little more snow around 9:00, high is 32.

Lani, wow, you are going to be cold when you and Sadie go for your walk this morning

Phyl, hope the wind died down eventually...  The photos are late, I was really tired yesterday, didn't sleep well Tuesday night...I am all caught up now! That beautiful ginger cat looks like he may be listening to relaxing music...enjoying the sunshine... I had skates just like that!  During the skate board craze in the mid 60s my dad made me a skate board using the skates, I loved it!

tsk, sounds like you know exactly what to do and are doing it!  No advice from me!    How is Tim's cat Lulu doing? You know, you could get your own...I have always had at least 2 cats. Honey is just now coming to put her head on my shoulder and lay on me on the couch for a little while. Harley has also started laying next to me on the couch occasionally! We have had these cats for over 7 years... And they don't much like each other, just a little. So unlike ALL of my previous Siamese cats!

Lori, thank you so much for the lovely memories of Ted...such a sweet ol' bear. I am sure he is very much missed at the Bear Center... Did you get much snow this round? Hoping you are feeling much better each day!  Love the relaxing music...

baz, oh no, I picked the wrong guy!! Sorry, I just looked up 'who won the first round' and that is who came up! Rafa is very handsome!

38 heading to 43  More rain this afternoon  Cloudy - my battery needs recharging - No sun for many days

PHYL  Love the basking in the sun kitty.    I did the roller skating but never skate boarding.  Don't remember them being around when I was young.

CLYNN   Like the AM bear    Another fun day with Bella.  Love her lunch set up    So you were part of that big front that went through.  We just got the rain.  For the first time last night I felt Lulu jump on my bed and she did sleep at my feet - Amazing.  She also brought a ball up and played with that on the bed.  I found the ball on the floor this AM  LOL  She would play all day if she could.  We did have 2 calicos for 12 years  Not litter mates .  One was very active and one very shy.  Euthanized the active one and the shy one died on our bed in her sleep 2 months later.      Looks like V3 was Gabby's choice     The cat's walk in the AM  LOLOL

Tsk the retention pond behind our house is full---no photos as y'all know by now what that looks like.LOL   
Just got back in from cleaning the deck up---was a mess---all askew. Saw some shingles in the yard. Hope they're not ours!
