These were still made in the 60s. I loved mine---always had to sweep the sidewalk off before hand to clear the fine dirt .
But, it was worth the extra effort.
Then one day Dan brought home two skateboards that he made in wood shop for himself and Larry.
He let me ride his and I was hooked!!!
It took my parents a year before they gave permission for me have one ---
Dan made one for me his last year in high school and brought it home to me . Just two years before he enlisted in USAF volunteering and leaving for VietNam.
