{{{Phyl,Jim, Maggie}}} I can't imagine being without AC during the hottest time of the day... it's been awhile since we've had that here in North AZ, down in the valley we had to deal with it a few times. Take care.

SED Karen and Piper I thought about a malt around noon today!  ;D

Eagles,I hope your sister is feeling better today.... as far as our weather, it was 105 by 2pm and then temps started dropping by 3pm we had a quick hail storm followed by 5 minutes of rain, and then terrible humidity. It's now 77... monsoon season has arrived!  ;D.. I wish it had rained a little longer. It was great while it lasted! Take care.

Lisa, awww {{{Lulu}}} she is gorgeous! Love Tsks quilt, it looks handmade. My late MIL and I made a Queen size quilt the double Wedding ring pattern for her bed... glad Misty is calming down, I'm sure the boys appreciate it.  ;D .... I wonder where the osprey nest is located... too bad about the ipad. Is there an Apple or Best Buy, even a Walmart nearby?  ;D ... sleep well tonight, lots of photo taking moments await you tomorrow!

{{{Tig and Camper}}} feel better soon...   and I hope Camper's son feels better too after the bee bite.

BL, great capture of DH2.

kb, stunning photo by Larson... congrats to Chris, working hard on his pt and walking with you and Ollie. continued prayers and success.

Tsk, thank you for the update on Lisa's travels... DH2 flying to nest! what a fun welcome to Decorah moment for her!  ;D

Good night!

Awe, BL your Roy Orbison video brought back memories:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PLq0_7k1jk

"Pretty Woman" in this Black and White Song also showcases JD Souther...he's the guitar player with the beard standing next to Elvis Costello.
A great musician in his own right, but mostly known for his prolific songwriting.

I was a passenger in his 3 day old Lotus heading up Sunset Blvd when a drunk Australian diplomat driving the wrong way hit us head on....changed the direction of my life.....Don Henley was following us in another car behind us.

In recent history, he played in Minneapolis and Scott and I went to his smaller venue concert and met with him afterwards...he now drives a Volvo!

I don't recall ever seeing a RWBB so insistent on getting at one of our eaglets!  and DN2 seems to be merely ignoring life and going on with whatever.   Won't be watching for a while - too aggrevating.  There were times when multiple RWBBs would dive at our little ones, even at M & D, but this one seems to have  a vindette and has penetrated the feathers.  Can't watch any more.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE

64 heading to 79.  dew point 58  Mostly sunny  :)

KB   I think Swallowtails go for the dill.  . They look alike.   Pretty sure monarchs are exclusive to milkweed  ;)https://texasbutterflyranch.com/2013/07/07/caterpillar-quiz-how-to-tell-the-difference-between-monarchs-and-eastern-swallowtails/
That car crash you were in gave me the willies.  :o :o

LISA   Cute pic of Lulu.  After you left, she went upstairs looking for you  It had to be that as she never goes up there during the day  LOL

PHYL   Aren't rolling blackouts dangerous esp for those relying on electricity for their medical equipment?  I suppose they must have back up batteries?

BL   Plenty of safe places to view the hatchery eagles.  Love James Taylor and Yo-Yo Ma

LANI   Just my bedspread - would love a quilt tho  LOL

PUFF    I think someone has a photo from one year of RRBB riding on one of the eagles.

tsk - that makes sense....these gardeners that are posting without pics may not know what they are looking at....
That is such a cute story about Lulu and Lisa...either you may have to have Lisa visit you and Lulu more often or or or....LOL get Lulu another cat friend?

BTW, when you are in a vehicle that is crashing one goes some other place...your mind can't process it so for me it was like watching a movie...only later did I "feel" it...My experience was confirmed by a Cardiologist friend who said that always happens...

A damselfly from Lavin Photography....he states: I spy with my compound eye.

Current Canadian wildfires....click overlays for information.

Heading outside shortly for maintenance painting of deck rails and other....shoving plastic shovels hard against rails with heavy snow is not nice to the paint.

Kb if only  Canada would control those 'wildfires'...the Beakers and rest of the country would be healthier.  All I can do is empathize and offer prayers. Which I do constantly.
Luv Lavin Photog's damselfly. Reminds me of the kitty version many of us have in our Pinterest repertoire.

Good morning Beakers,

I am trying to type this from my phone and it isn’t easy.
I have been at the hatchery since a lil after 5 am. I missed HD fishing the pond I am told. Guess that means I need to get up a lil earlier tomorrow.

Puff - I think that RWBB is in love with DH2 lol. Geesh, what a pest!

BL - It is very hard to see DH2 in the tree. Yesterday, I had to stand on the gravel in the road past the curve you have marked a lil to the W. That is when the kid was on the N side. If you stand on bridge, you cannot see kid at all. If you are at kiosk you can see HD above the cams perched. There is another perch that they sit on that I could see HM on this morning. It is right above the cams

tsk - awww, give Lulu a pet for me

Kb - love the damselfly

Lani - tsk’s home is beautiful and I loved the bedspread too!

Fog - clearing and warming to 70.

Puff - I hope to make the trip to ATF one of these years - I can only imagine how fun the trip would be!  I'm sure you are quite busy right now!  Hope you are feeling a lil better. {{Puff}}

Tig - Oh no, that bee sting - hope Camper's son's ankle is a little better today.   Looking forward to Camper's pics  8)

Tsk - You are so wonderful with all you do for the Monarchs - hope you don't get stung by any of those bees.

LisaG - So exciting to be right there at the Hatchery!!  I just know you are enjoying every minute of this trip!! ;D

Phyl - Did you ever find out why the power went out?  Hopefully all is completely fixed now!  Beautiful cam pics - love Anthony's profile pic!

Lani - Yaaay for the rain you had - even tho it only lasted about 5 min!

Kb - That is quite the story of your being in that car accident years ago :o ::)

Everyone have a nice day  :)
