Oops.  Venus not Serena

TSK, LOL! I see you caught yourself.  ;) :D  Easy mix-up - Serena was always "the talk" at tourney time till her retirement.  ;)

Phyl, nope, my boyfriend  ;) :-*  is not playing at Wimbledon this year. He had a hip injury earlier this year, and then hip surgery, and is out for the rest of the year. He hopes to play next year, and plans to retire in 2024, also. I hope he will be able to play again before his retirement, but that's a wait-and-see at this point. I hope he will be able to!

some bounce
Medicine still not working well on knees... needs more time I guess.
Grubex is going down on Saturday... my knees won't take standing to grab them off the roses. I think I have some spray in garage...

Tig, hope your med injection starts helping soon. The lady in the house across the street from where I grew up used to pay us kids a penny per Japanese beetle that we picked off her plants. She would give us jars to put them in. Seemed like a great deal to us! Afterward, we would ride our bikes to the nearby little strip shopping center and buy penny candy at the drug store. Sweet! LOL.

Bazi - Enjoy Wimbleton!

Lani - Yes, we had a nice 4th - thank you.   Hope you did too, even tho Mike had to leave that day.

Clynn - It is kind of unusual that Harley and Honey don't cuddle, but then, I guess all kitties have their own likes/dislikes!  I remember my parents taking us to the outdoor movie theatre a few times - such fun & great memories!!

LisaG - Yes, had a nice time away for the 4th  :)   Glad that Bandit and Misty are getting along - maybe as time goes on, they might even form a stronger bond, but if not, that's okay too! ;)

Kb - Bet Ollie always enjoys his morning walk with you!

Lani - Good that you and Sadie get out early for your walks too (like Kb & Ollie)  :)

Tig - Oh no - those beetles - hope you find a way to rid of them.

Hi Tsk  :)

Clynn - Cute pics of the Munchkins - glad you mention that is her little doll in the swing! Lol  ;D

Beakers have a good night and sleep well.  :)

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, cute owl, tight fit but perfect nesting tree! Would like to see how she gets in/out! Yes, we are all aging, gracefully I hope! Looks like you have a very warm forecast for the next several days...dang!  I don't remember pizza when I was a kid...did we have pizza back then? We always ate before we went to the drive-in and Mom took snacks for us. She was and still is very frugal... ;D

Phyl, looks like Anthony is checking the cactus out, and then in the nest waiting for a possible food drop! High 74 today, supposed to start raining around noon.

baz, my Uncle Jack had a 5 acre field close to the house. He had soybeans planted and offered Cathy and I 25 cents for each thistle we dug up from that bean field. I can't remember how many we had but we emptied the wagon more than once! He paid us, we thought we were rich!

ARRGG  Lost my post

CLYNN   We just eat the mangos and no rain yesterday.  Love the last pic of Bella..  Pretty handy porch you have there  ;)  Our generation of musicians is really getting up there in age  :o   that home garden looks like 10 years of work.  They had to have hired out the job.  Gorgeous space.  Wonder who will care for it when they are gone?   Thistle is what I am digging out of my garden regularly  - all jumping over from my neighbors yard!  :P  It's a bear because so hard to get deep roots so it just pops back up.

(((TIG)))

BAZI  Had to google "keyhole" surgery - it's an arthroscopy  - like with a camera to repair tissue damage.   No I did not catch myself - Lisa prompted me  LOL

Good Morning Beakers.....T.G.I.F.!!!!!!

tsk - Sorry about your post!

clynn - I wish I had one of those fresh melons from the back of that truck.  Great pics of the munchkins!  I am sure that is what Bandit is telling Misty  ;D  Wow, that beautiful garden....how do they keep it up?  I hope with some help!

Phyl - Thanks for RRP post.  Great cam pics.  Temps are hot for you today.  We are suppose to have a high of 87.

Lani - Love your winking owl.  Thanks for the TRR and Royal update!  I hear from jaspurr just about every other day.  She lets me know how her and those mischievous kittens are getting along.  :)  I am not Facebook friends with Jeff's cousin's daughter who has Raven, but he is as well as the friend who adopted Angus now George.  He has seen pics of both, and they are getting along great too.  Of course I ask Bradley about Lizzie now Ziva, how are Stewie and Ziva getting along.  I wish I knew how the others were.

tig - Hope your knees are feeling better today.

kb - Oh...patience is not one of my strong suits when I need work done, and waiting for a call back.  ;D

Tsk - Oh no, lost your post  :o ???

I had no idea beavers carry their babies in their arms....

Morning all...

Lisa - good to hear all the kitties, or those you've heard from, are doing well...

Watering front and back this am...mowed the front and dropped fertilizer....I ran out for the back yard so on order for next week.....it's a kind of fertilizer that doesn't burn so I don't need rain or to water it in...
Everything just needs watering again....1/2 inch won't cut it for the summer when we need 4 inches a month..

No call back yet...starting to think maybe next week?....We have showered, done laundry, flush toilets and all....just no tp or anything other than water down the line is okay.
I assume that those that can't even do that will take a priority over me...
Still makes me nervous a titch as I saw the tile inside the pipe that looked like a brick and the cracking of the pipe....a total collapse could be imminent...

Given we have a titch cooler air temps I'm spending as much time outside getting things done as I can.

Hope you feel better tig, and or you have a solution up your sleeve.

TGIF Beakers!
Morning Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie and All!

Eagles, I hope your mom's appt goes well.  :)

Lisa, thanks for the kittens update. Thinking about Misty  :-*. ....  Are you excited about ATF?! ;D

Tsk, sorry about your post.... I'm hungry for a mango now. LOL! I have to buy a couple of mangos in spite of the high cost here.

Clynn, I didn't realize you were talking about children's memory. We didn't have movie drive-ins here in Hawaii, when I was a child. We didn't even have a car, and wouldn't be able to afford to go out at night if we did..... In the 70's Mike and I went to the Salina Drive-in and I had pizza. I thought it was the best.... love the pic of the melons on the truck...  I'm cutting up a watermelon for Mike to enjoy when he gets home tomorrow.

Phyl, I like to think the young GSB siblings have moved around the corner. They are safe, hiding in the bluffs hidey holes at night.... Anthony looks great! ... Thanks for RRP blog, they're getting ready for the best celebration of the year! I'm looking forward to the pics. ;D 8)

87 going to 96 or so!  Spent 30 minutes outside this am with Piper who does not like to be out without an audience!
Baz, do you have bbc?   I cannot get it on the stations I have although I think I got it in the past!
Clynn good pictures of the kids!  Love the garden! I have wild black berries in my yard and thrive in bushes!  I cannot get the yard man to understand that they need to be pulled before they kill all the bushes.  Hard to get the roots.  The berries are good food for the birds.
Tsk, glad you like Mangos.  Some how they and papayas taste like turpentine to me.  Lol, all in what you are used to eating.  Great price though.
Lisa, good news on the kitties so far.  Wish you would hear from the others!
Have a good tgif day and bravo to all the old musicians!

Oh my, did the pencil skirts go out of style?  Lol.  Better check my closet!   Must get a watermelom today!
