CLynn Anthony's not been in nest  or in view at least, for a few days. Just Choyln and Chase  dropping in  from time to time.Hopefully, he's been haveing
some fun out and about.
Pretty flowered wreaths this AM. Thanks for sharing Naimo's photo.
I think tha's true ---some folks can't grow certain plants. Never had a prob with petunias or daisies, for example. But, roses and bulbs---nope.
Give Honey a kiss for me.
I was out on deck late watering the night before and always get an 'uneasy feeling' of late. Then yesterday when Jim came home he told me about the bears in our
area.   :o

Today is my late father's birthday. Had he lived---age 107 yrs

A snow leopard: FYI a snow leopard is more closely related to a tiger than a leopard.

Find one here:

Morning all.

Lani - what are your next steps regarding no arrival of stuff?
Reminds me of my move from California to Minnesota late 1989..
Large major moving company however, took them only 2 weeks in the winter...nada broken....they put them in those pods even back then.
My car was driven by a couple who wanted to travel the two states....Back then a company vetted the people who wanted to get from Point A to Point B and just pay for gas....also just over 2 weeks...no problems with my vehicle. I forget how much I paid for the vehicle travel service?

Clynn - don't know...

82 going to 96!   No rain!  Not needed really,
PHyl, pt has nothing to do with vertigo.  Balance only.    Good anyway.
Do not see any baby finches!  Maybe a head up in the nest but it is hard to see up there!
No bears in the area but there were fox sitings before the trees were cut down in the back.   I saw a small one while walking the dogs one morning.  It stared at us and my usually  alert pups paid it no attention!  Strange encounter.
Clynn, when I had the three dogs, they were not bonded and I think they would have all preferred to be only dogs!    Sassy was her happiest after Putter and Bogey went to the bridge,

We do not have Tillamook
ice cream here either .Tsk.  Reminds me of Coors beer before distribution out of .denver started!  Always preferred Miller Light!

Enjoyed all the flowers this am and the pictures of the y!

Lani, 😉.   Hope Aly gets her things soon!

Good Morning Beakers

Thanks everyone for the kind words on Midnight getting adopted.  I am hoping the rest get adopted this week.

Lani - Thanks for the Royal update.  Manaaki is beautiful.  What is Aly going to do about the moving company if they don't show up.  I am sure she is upset about her stuff not arriving. I know I would be!  Glad to hear that your helper will be there Thursday to help you.

Phyl - Fuzzy Wuzzy  ;D ;D  Thanks for cam pics!  Happy Heavenly Birthday to your Dad.

tsk - We did not get the severe weather as they said, but I did hear it raining around 2 am.

E4E - Glad to hear your appt with the dermatologist went well.   :D  Just got a nice email from jaspurr this morning, and made me tear up!  I am so glad the kitties went to her, cause I know she will love and care for them just as much as I did.

kb - Emergency landing  ;D ;D

clynn - I always said, that we should have got a 2nd cat when we got Bandit.  He seems to be warming up to Misty now. Is that your pretty yard and flowers in the last pic?

kb - Found it after I made it bigger.  ;)

karen - Do you all have BlueBell ice cream there?  That is one of the best.

Ick, that was one of the toughest Ollie man walks other than a real icy/winter one.

The air is so thick with smoke, esp. low to the ground...smells like thick smoke too.
Surprised even though I knew it came in yesterday with haze etc. but this was something.

I may curtail some of my outdoor to do list....unless it gets better of course..

Overcast - High of 64

LisaG - Good & happy news about Midnight - hopefully a good/kind/loving forever home.  :-* :-*   How is Misty doing?   I am still so overjoyed that Jaspurr adopted 2 of the kittens, as I knew she would keep in touch with you, and you will always know how they are doing, and of course they will have the best care, love & attention! :-* :-*

Lani - Glad to know your Landscaper was in touch with you, and will be back over on Thurs.  Sure wish the Movers would bring Aly's stuff to her.   Hope you feel better soon {{Lani}}

Phyl - Nice that Jim will be off early today and hopefully mows  :)   Adolescent bears in your area!  Beautiful pic out at Mississippi River Flyway cam.  All great cam pics!    **Happy Heavenly Birthday for your Dad** {{Phyl}}

Tsk - I see that your pt appt is for today (not yesterday)  :)  Like your morning gif.

Clynn - Is that last picture taken of your yard area?  If so, very pretty!   Thank you for posting Naimo's Decorah pic  :)

Kb - Like your leopard pic.  Good story of how your car was driven to Minnesota  :)   Sure hope that the haze and smoke clears out soon. :o

Karen - I hadn't realized that Sassy was one of three dogs that you had at one time. :)   Were Putter & Bogey small size dogs too?

Beakers have a nice day.

E4e, putter and Bogey were Shih Tzus and Sassy was a mix, 85% shih tzu!  She was the biggest and Putter was the smallest!  Sassy is my avatar.
Lisa, we have BlueBell.  A Texas ice cream.MY CURRENT FAVORITES ARE PUBLIX TRINITY A VERY RICH MIX OF CHOCOLATES AND baskin Robbins , pralines and cream.  I still remember eating ice cream as a kid, from Wisconsin, then known as Americas Dairy State!  Their laws governed all dairy products and msrgarine as outlawed!  Only Butter could be sold.   Tge ice cream was so rich, it was heavenly with a very high fat content!  Salami and cheese were also marvelous.  We had a stop there after leaving my grandmothers that was wonderful.   All makes for a fat kid but my mother s very watchful!
Good news for Midnight!   Poor Lizzie, she needs a special home!  A quiet one!

KB  Can't find it..sigh.

KAREN   Hot one for you today.   Yes Only butter sold in Wisconsin.  I do remember when they finally allowed oleo - it came in a thick plastic bag and was white with a "red dot" you had to squeeze and squeeze so the white would turn to butter" color  LOL  Of course Mom made us kids do the squeezing.

LISA  Nice bouquet of flowers.  Agree Jaspurr will be a good Mom ;) :)

tsk - look underneath the first clump of snow on a rock..he's not in the snow.

It does help too if you click on it and it enlarges for you?

Well, glad I did inspect my yard....all of my phlox both front and back have something wrong with them.
I have multiples of mounds of them....huge.
So, I did neem oil phlox, roses, and Virginia Creeper.

Cleaned out the inside of the Jeep and still want to drop grubex down at least what I have left over in advance of tonight/tomorrow's rain?

If it doesn't rain, I'll water it in....

There is progress on my privacy fence....climbing back up...will have privacy by the fall me thinks.

My 3 roses are just starting to grow back up as well....I had 10 years of grown on them before last winter's rabbit destruction.

I'll be able to comfortably go in my jacuzzi by September...

Sometimes i think I'm just a caretaker of a resort, LOL....decks/flowers/ privacy and jacuzzi.....I'm just the caretaker.

such an interesting story:
From the Friends of MN Nongame Eagle Cam

Last weekend, our eagle specialist Lori helped a chick from The Raptor Center get adopted by new parents. The chick had been displaced from its nest and she was able to bring it to northern Minnesota for placement it in an existing nest with new parents.
Each year, Lori helps Dr. William Bowerman from the University of Maryland band and study eagle chicks in Voyager’s National Park. Dr. Bowerman is a world-renowned expert on environmental change affecting bald eagle populations. Here are some image highlights. Photos described in captions

Not sure if anyone can view the pics unless you are a fb member of the site?...
Bottom line: they removed an older chick from a Northern MN nest, determined it was a female, and then returned it and the younger chick ( a male) being rehabilitated at the Raptor Center to the nest.

Both look to be doing well...and am pretty sure the parents will take care of both....

Look at the fb site above to see if you can see the pics.

some bounce

(( KB ))
I mowed the longer sections of lawn and picked a couple cups of raspberries. I'm tired of the garlic chive (and it no longer serves its original purpose) so Camper dug it out for me. Me thinks our lilac is a gonner and one other shrub in the garden appears dead. Sigh.

After I get hydrated and shower I think we will visit here: https://www.homirestaurant.com/

KB    How did you determine that something was wrong with your phlox?   I know you have seen your wall in better days but I think it looks beautiful!!!  I love ferns  :D  Interesting happenings at MN Nongame.

TIG  Menu looks good - What did you get?
