Hi Beakers :)

Oldguy - Definitely good news as you mentioned - CA drought condition has improved (heard this on tonight's news).    Love the vid of the DIY elevated feline feeding station!
Clynn - Your Harley is such a beautiful kitty!
Lani - Mike sure has a lot of responsibility with his job -  I hadn't realized he was promoted to run 4 Plants. :o  He is a strong man!
Tig - As Lani mentioned, I too would love to see Stevie Nicks!  You & Camper will have so much fun.  Oh wow, just read it is one concert - that's perfect!!  Glad your dentist took care of your tooth.
Tsk - Had to LOL when you say you had to abort your post due to a certain cat - let the fun begin! Lol  ;D
LisaG  :)
Hi Puff
Kb - Sounds like you & Andrew have a good handle on taking care of your roof situation -  you guys make a great team!  Love the beautiful sweet pic of you & Ollie  :-* :)
Hi Baz!
Phyl - Glad that Dan is safe!  That was quite some hail  :o ::)  Hope your roof & windows weren't damaged.

eburg - Great memories/story about the Yardbirds! According to one story I read, Clapton joined the band in 1963 and left in 1965. Beck joined in 1965 on the recommendation of Page. Page, himself, joined the band (and Beck) in 1966. 1966 was one of the great milestone years in all sorts of ways.  :)

Thanks T40 for the research.  Must have been the summer of '66 then.  High school grad looking toward my freshman year at Iowa State.  Beck and Page were the two lead guitars for sure, but there was also a 3rd guitar and he wore this hat Eric Clapton had worn on the back LP photos or the teen mags or the Ed Sullivan show....somewhere....and I always wondered if it might have been him.  That's why I need to go to the Museum at the Lakes.

Got to thinking....it might have been "the Summer of Love, 1967.  Depends on when the tour was, and that's tough to figure even with Wikipedia.  :)
But leaning toward "66 cuz my band played "Shape of Things" the summer of '66 (along with "Satisfaction", "Louie, Louie", "Gloria", "Wild Thing", "Little Red Riding Hood", "House of the Rising Sun", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Midnight Hour", "Little Latin Lupe Lu", "Good Lovin'", "Paint It Black", some Kinks, "She's Not There", "Wipeout", "Hey Joe", "Get Off My Cloud", others.....and the dance floor was always busy!!)....sigh!

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, oh those ginger kittens! Harley was so little when we got him, he's now a big boy (and a turdbutt).  He hadn't attacked the paper towels for a while, so I put the roll back on the holder. He knew and and he attacked them as soon as I went to the store!

E4E, Harley is the bad boy of all of the cats I have had... but we still love him!

eburg, you bring back many memories with those songs, I think I know every word to all of them (at least as well as we could know the words back then... ;D)! I was just starting High School when you started college so our music is the same, the years of the best music...CSN&Y, Grassroots, Simon & Garfunkel, the old Bee Gees, CCR... so much good music in the late 60's.

Phyl, Bob was very famous! People love good animal stories and he was certainly a celebrity! I was going to say we called it 'bailing out' when we jumped out of the swing, you hit the nail on the head...bravery was measured by how high you could go and then jump! I don't ever remember a teacher telling us to stop! I remember wearing a dress with either shorts or pants or tights, Mom made dresses for me and my sister Cathy. We didn't really care what we wore until we got in Jr. High. Hope you came through the storms okay...

Oh my Phyl, Lisa Presley gone...she was too young. I read that it was cardiac arrest. RIP. Thanks for the info ...

Sue Bruhling - Good Morning!! I went into check on our Babies down in Southwest Florida and this is what I found this morning!! Two Cutie Patootie's I watched a feeding and noticed not much Bonking going on!! Could it be that E22 is catching up in size to E21??? 😉 or just because there is a good food supply!! 🙂

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Cute kitty!...in a zoo, but still cute.

In that photo, I was already wearing my snowpants and yaktrax.....waiting for Andrew to show up.
I think Ollie wanted to make sure I'd let him play with Andrew when he came!....LOL
Of course we did NOT let Ollie outside when sliding those heavy chunks of snow off the roof..
