Good Evening Beakers

We had a storm go thru that started at 5:15 and is just now fading out.  at 4pm we were at 87, by 5:15 it had dropped to 81, by 5:35 it was only 62 with hail and heavy rain and winds of 35mph - the hail was marble size at the largest, but it lasted for about 20 min.  we got about 1/3 of inch of rain - temps to stay around 60 for the overnight and only 76 for a high for Monday...

Only got 2 games in last night - 1 win and 1 loss - second game was not even close. ::)

This is such a sweet story... I saw it on TV about a week ago, I was going to share it but had forgotten about it.  Murphy is a cool stepdad and did an awesome job for little 23126... bless his heart. thank you for sharing T40  ;D 💜

Someone asked about the Wave Petunia...  We sell alot of them at the store...

Wave petunias were developed in the mid-1990's as a hybrid of the standard petunia plant. Up until that time, petunias rarely grew beyond ten to twelve inches in length. But that all changed with the introduction of the Wave petunia, and it became an instant sensation! (Apr 23, 2022)

Wave petunias have a unique trailing growth habit and are highly prolific in their blooming. They drape over the sides of containers and raised beds and are great summer performers. A regular petunia has an upright or bush growth habit. It may spread slightly, but will not drape down as dramatically as a Wave petunia.

Hi all Beakers!

We are back safe & sound from our (almost) 2 week trip to TN.  Got back last night at midnight - went to bed at 1:30, but then couldn't go to sleep right away, as again, I was realizing how empty our home is without my beloved little Star.  I miss her so much.

We visited Dolly Parton's 'Dollywood' park and that was so much fun and such a lovely experience.  We visited my cousin & her husband for a few days and during that time we went on a Riverboat cruise and that was really fun.  Then we drove across TN for a couple of hours in Nashville, but we did not stay there.  We visited a few places while in Nashville and had lunch, then drove to Memphis.  While in Memphis, we visited Elvis' Graceland.  That was a beautiful tour that I cannot even put into words.  It was so special.  Our time in TN went by so fast!  There were others things we toured & visited, but those were the highlights!

Clynn - I was sad to read about your friend Kay passing.  You were a beautiful friend to her.  I did not take my laptop on our trip, and did not get on line much because I only had my cell.

Kb - Love the cut pic of you & Ollie relaxing on couch  :)

Hi Tsk  :)

LisaG - Cute pics of the kittens!

Lani - Happy the busy convention is over and hope you are getting some rest now!

T40 - Love the 'Murphy the eagle' (becoming a Dad) story  :-*

Lori - Hope you are feeling better now.  :-*

Hello to Puff, Tig, Oldguy, Phyl, Baz, Karen  :)

I'm almost nodding out - need to get used to the time difference.  For most of the time we were on eastern time, then central, and back to pacific time today! ;)
My Mom & sis came over for a couple hours today to visit and catch up on things with us.  :)

Oldguy, Maru is a hoot! He loved the guest bed. I love wave petunias in baskets, but they always get aphids after a couple of weeks. They are available at Home Depot

T40, Sweet Murphy and his adopted eaglet has been shared a lot here. Thanks for another good video about it.

Lori, cute morning pics, I hope all is well after the storm passes.

Lisa, When do the kittens visit the vet? Looking forward to Jeff's video.  ;D

Welcome home Eagles! You were missed! Glad to hear you and Kris had a good time, especially visiting Dollywood and Graceland.  ;D ...I bet it was wonderful catching up with your mom and sis....   I hope you're able to sleep tonight, sending hugs and a prayer for peace in your heart.  :-*

BL  :)

Good night! from E22 sibling E21 was last seen 4/29 after stopping to visit with E22 and then soared away from the nest. E22 sleeps in the nest tonight. It was a day of soaring and flights of exploration. M treated E22 to a RK rabbit. No views of E21. Sleep safely Eagles. Watch over them Mom and Great Spirit.
