GOOD MORNING ALL

39  heading to 52 by mid afternoon - partly sunny  Brrr

LISA   LOL  I know - who cannot hold a kitten...Lulu is not big on being held.  She will tolerate for a few seconds.  Altho if she is laying on your lap all stroking is allowed - even her feet!

KAREN     I hope your car insurance covers your drivers.  Have you seen their driver's licenses?  Just speaking from experience...You will settle into a routine.  Just give it time.   Your house has great curb appeal!!!!  Beautiful.

CLYNN  Check your link to Gordon Lightfoot interview...Guess I'll pass on the peony.  For kicks will check at the nurseries I frequent.  Love that pileated. :o

PHYL   HD  has some real problems landing  LOL  I expect tho that the nest becomes pretty small when Mom is laying there and DH2 along side.  Thought HD was going to crush DH2 landing with the wonky stick  :o :o    Good video clips

Good Morning Beakers

Ran across some background info on a guitar player that is a member of the Rock & Roll hall of fame - inducted in 2020 as a member of a band from the 70s.
His non-music interests got him selected for the Civilian Advisory Board for Ballistic Missile Defense, which led to consulting contracts with the Pentagon's Missile Defense Agency and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Can anyone name this man???

Mickey took that house picture before it was finished so I could see where to put the house numbers!  Have added more roses on both sides of the pirch and azealas and mulched with pine straw.  Changed the wreath on the front door. Liiking better and now we wait for all to settle in and grow!

Thanks for the morning nest news and round up .  Love seeing the babies. I think my nest may have b,own down,

Phyl, love little DH2 all snuggled in... and the goose butt! No eggs yet!  Sunrise on Decorah North, lovely! We will have to go through every can at Kay's, she was not good about getting rid of long expired items. Some 2/4 years past 'Best By' date.

tsk, thanks, I fixed the link to the Gordon Lightfoot interview, I think I mess up links often, because I highlight the link but forget to hit Control C and it pastes the last thing I pasted! Gotta watch that!  Honey is like Lulu on the holding/petting, except she wants to climb up on my shoulder and lay when I am on the computer... Love those beautiful cherry blossoms!

oldguy, someone from the Doobie Brothers? The band I remember that started in the 70's!

karen, can you have your helper take a picture of your porch now? I think it's pretty now, can't wait to see the improvements!

Baird's Tapir..

tsk - yes...Baxter..

Well, Ollie man flushed out Herb and Sue in the back yard this morning....luckily, Ollie was first more interested in getting rid of the rabbit...as Herb and Sue just watched on but then quickly flew up and away!
Sue is no longer missing.

Putting out my tropicals today as it will be above 45 at night as far as the eye can see....
I love to get them out of the house and outside as then my inside rooms look and feel less crowded.
I've done it forever around this time frame. They'll be fine and I watch for night time lows every day to make sure.

cleaning windows too as with the higher sun angle can see what I'm doing...LOL, in the winter they can be very dirty but you'd miss it with our low sun angle.

OLDGUY   That's a tough one!

CLYNN  LOL  Lulu wakes me between 5 and 5:30.  I'm laying on my side and she lays on my shoulder and side - the highest point in the room  LOL
The computer is ridiculous.  She's all over the desk and likes to sit on the back of the chair or the armrests.  Stunning pic of Iris.

KAREN  Ditto Clynn on an updated photo.

KB  Someone is really enjoying the neck scratches  LOL.. My plan closer to noon - warmer  - is to get out some of the yard art today.

Good Morning Beakers

Another gloomy day, hoping for some sunshine tomorrow!

karen - I got an idea from Pinterest about "Important Information".  I have already started mine for Bradley when he needs it.  There are several different ways you can make one, but I found one site that lists just about everything you would need if you pass away.  It's a binder with different sections of important info.

clynn - Looked at that cake site that you mentioned to oldguy.  That has alot of good info!  karen, love your house and the pretty yard work, thanks for posting clynn!  Love the pic of Iris!
Phyl - Not just talking to kitties, kissing all over them, too.  Misty is probably going  ::)

tsk - Pretty morning flowers :)  Awww, Lulu lets your pet her.  Bandit says, no touchy feely, or you will get scratchy bleedy!   ;D

kb - Glad to hear that Sue is no longer missing!

LISA   We did that " Important Information" years ago - Master copies are in "documents" so changes can easily be made but hard copies are then made and go in a folder.  Includes all names - phone #'s, bank #'s etc  We update it once a year in January.   " scratchy bleedy"  LOLOL

OLDGUY   That 9 yr old guitarist is a real prodigy.  :o :o

LANI   Thanks for posting the beautiful Lucky.  Brrr  pretty cold bath - Love Lynn's Raven close-up

Hi to All the Beakers!  :)

A couple of "funnies" that made me giggle...   ;) :D

 ;D ;D

Oldguy, thanks for that computer info.

Karen, the front of your house was already looking so nice, so I know it is really extra-pretty now with all the new things you have done. Your new front step handrails turned out nice, too!

I'm hungry and tired, and don't want to get "hangry," LOL, so I'm heading to the kitchen - no food since breakfast, so...

Later, gators. Take care, All.  :)

KB   That's an amazing rookery photo. Have never seen anything like that.

BAZI    ;D ;D ::) ::)

Did get the yard art/bird baths out in three wagon trips from the garage.  Tim will need to do the last piece as it is beyond my weight restrictions for lifting.  Also the small circular garden around the birdbath is ready to go. Will plant that after the 14th.

Tomorrow I will get a start on indoor window/screens washing and schedule the outdoor window washers altho looking ahead to the 10 day - there is rain possible almost every day  LOLOL :P

It will take sometime to notice any changes in my fy.  Things are going to need some time to settle in and grow a little.  I have a trekkis in the back I am going to have moved to the front and will get a clemantis to plant tgere.   The fren peony is lovely!   None of the peonys  will grow this far south!  Same with likacs to nane two of my favorites!

Sadly, my bird nest blew down last night!  I have no idea where it went.  This year the nest was regulation size unlike previous years.

Baz, enjoy your dinner and all have a peaceful night!
