Eagles since Dan had the surgery to replace his cancerous leg bones with surg. steel rods and is holding his remission I've been very concerned for him.
I know my nephew loves his dad and watches out for him. But, still---

Owl with vole

Ugg, a sheet of ice on all streets...as freezing rain came in for hours....A friend posted she let her dog out and it fell completely on it's side....all metro transit buses cancelled....and schools are closing nearby.

Dang, i should have attempted that walk yesterday.....

Phyl, love the early morning pics of the eagles, sometimes it's like 'find Waldo'!  The North cam looks fuzzy today, wonder if it's foggy? Decorah is clear:



Good to hear Dan is okay, but we always worry because sometimes men keep their worries to themselves...  29 here, 42 high for the day.

Lisa, great puzzle idea for those of us who don't have a space to dedicate!

Lani, Kay says she is fine, we will be going to her place tomorrow evening, so I will see just how fine. She has a next door neighbor, Dianna, who is checking on her as well. Linus and Snoopy...

BL, you have a very interesting life, to say the least!

Whoops....my city should have cancelled school....apparently it's too dangerous to drive.

I hear I might have to put my yaktrax on to carry Ollie back inside....people are rescuing their slipped dogs right outside their front door....I think I'll eventually let Ollie out the back (no steps) and have my yaktrax ready.

LANI    LOL  So true about the magnifying glass   ;D  Love the rescued kitten meeting the big cats.  She has quite a set up there to introduce cats.

OLDGUY    Now pier and lily pads I would do.  ;) ;)

EAGLES  Lulu has definitely chosen Tim as the bed partner  LOL

BL   Meeting the musicians/bands was right up your alley.  Lucky you thanks to your brother.

LISA    I've seen those puzzle set ups.  Great for kids and young people  LOLOL  Have a good doc visit.

PHYL  Thanks for Amy's blog.

KB   Took me a sec to get the perspective on that amazing owl/vole pic. :o :o   Terrible situation for you all with the ice.  Watch out hospital ERs!

BL - I had not heard of Tedeschi Truck band; thanks for some history/background on the group - very good! ;D

Lani - Hope Mike stays safe in this weather - good he checks in with you! Glad for Mike his basketball team won. :)   We are still getting rain, tomorrow we will get a little bit of a break. 

Tig - I think we are like you guys at dinner time! ;D

LisaG - Stay safe across that bridge and have a good appt.  Take care  :)

Phyl - I don't blame you for always being concerned & caring for your brother.  Thoughts & prayers that Dan always stays in remission.  Wishing him all the best in these CA rains & flooding.

Kb - Oh no, all that ice - be careful - wish you didn't have to step out even for a minute!    Awe, leopard cub(s).   Yikes-just saw the school bus  :o ::)

Clynn - Like your gifs & pics this morning  :)   Lol the Alexa  ;D

Tsk - Lulu has chosen Tim as her night time partner - awe so cute  ;D :)

All stay warm & safe.  We have an appt in the bay area this morning (to take care of some business), about an hour & 15 min drive, but with the rain it may take longer.  We are leaving extra early.

so far, Ollie hasn't asked to be let outside for his business :)

Haha, not funny...a friend of mine just posted this publicly: had to sit on my butt to get both dogs back inside, deck is pure ice!....keep holding it Ollie man!

kb - Yikes on the ice, be careful!  Cool pic of the owl with the vole.  Oh no, the school bus. 

clynn - Yes, great idea for a puzzle table for those who don't have the extra space.  Great pic from DNN. 

tsk - Hope all goes well t vet with Lulu.  Doc appt was OK.  She said, I was pretty stable with the A1C over the holidays.  I told her that I was really trying to watch the carbs since the blood work, but have noticed that when I try to eat better my blood sugar goes up in the morning.  She told me to stop worrying about the A1C and just eat like I was before, but to get a lil more exercise.
