Lots of great posts.

We have been busy. Dinner tonight was at a favorite family restaurant with interesting decor and yummy Italian food: https://donatellis.com/about-donatellis/#1490279767578-dd8b1406-708cefc2-d3f5

Lani - I am glad for our trip to the cemetary yesterday. My husband took his 'Edger' and trimmed around the head stones and we took a broom to sweep the grass/trimmings off of the head stones/Plaques.  The cemetary groundskeepers just mow over the grass/weeds - nothing extra.
Hope Mike is catching up on rest & relaxation and that the shot is working.

LisaG - Okay - you've already driven in the rain with your new tires!  At least you know they gripped the road for you! ;)

Tsk - You are so right about the BE segment on the Today Show.  They should have mentioned the issue of Lead poisoning.         The project Kris did today was to make a Platform for the mattress on our bed.  Our bed squeeked pretty bad when someone had to get in or out of bed, so he recently looked at the mattress, and discovered that our mattress was NOT meant to be used with box springs.   So he did some calculations and measuring and bought the wood yesterday.  Today he began the project; sawing the wood, etc.  It took him several hours (almost all day), but he got it finished!  We now have a quiet bed! TMI! Lol  ;D

Clynn - You too wondered what project Kris was going to make, so please see what I wrote to Tsk (above)! :)    So glad it worked out for Erin & Sydney to go pick up the kittens!!  I can't wait to hear about the trip and I do hope all went well!!     Darling pics of the kitties!!     I hope you get your referral asap!  Glad Ed has stepped in!
Just saw the darling pics of the kittens with the Munchkins - so cute!!!!!   Can't wait to hear what names you guys settle on! ;D

Kb - I agree with you in that you won't pay for a wreath next year.  You can do it on your own if weather permits.  And as Clynn mentioned, we all remember Scott and his service to our Country. :-*  He is always remembered. Warm hug for you Kb.

Tsk - Hope you had a wonderful day with your niece's family for your Christmas celebration.

Baz - Good for you in getting in your walks!  Lots of rain in your area! :o

Karen - You & Piper have a good night.

Tig - What a fun and great restaurant!!

Hi Bl!

Beakers have a good night.

Well, Erin's just left! They went out to eat after they brought the kittens in and the Munchkins stayed here. They loved playing with the kittens, and then after I fed the kids we couldn't find the kittens!  I swear, we searched everywhere, even rooms they really couldn't have gotten into. For over an hour! When Erin and Sydney came back they started looking and Sydney found them! They had gotten in a basket in the back of the lower shelf of one of the end tables, curled up together and went to sleep... It was so cute, and I found a lot of dusty things I need to clean...  ::)

karen, there's the first story...  ;D

I am worn out, so good night dear Beakers!

Oh Clynn, they are adorable. And so are the munchkins.  :-*.  Looks like the duo found a safe haven and lots of fun places to explore and hide.  ;D :-*
You've been through a few trying days, traveling, etc.... Sending hugs and prayers for a restful and peaceful night for all.  :-*

Baz, you have many wonderful places to walk. You make every walk an adventure.... Yes to "Declutter the Mind!" ... Great photos your nephew took of Norway. The beautiful town is so well lit at night! Good link on Tromso. I sent it to Aly, she spent three years in Kragero, Norway and loved every minute of it.

Karen, this was Mike's 2nd shot in a year. Doctor said one shot once a year. I have a feeling he'll need another one soon. He promised me he plans to retire the end of 2024. Mike said the doctor does amazing job getting the needle in the right spot with minimum amount of pain. Thanks for your concern.  :-*

{{{Clynn}}} So glad you have an appt with the specialist! It'll be good for you to see your doctor on Tuesday and talk over things while getting your tests completed for the specialist. I'm with Tsk if anyone says you "you should have come in sooner!" You know what to do and say!! .....  Great pic of the Atlantic Road, Norway.

Tig, what a fun family restaurant, it looks warm and inviting. I bet the food is great!

SED BL, Pip and Kopje

Eagles, We would do the same with Mike's family headstones too. There are four family plots area. Mike's the 4th generation Kansan. Mike's mom/dad has family plots in different eras in one cemetery in Salina.... nice comfy bed for you  ;D

Good night!

Good Evening / Happy Caturday Beakers

It has been a busy week with work, Christmas (with 2 meal preps at 2 different locations) and getting ready for New Years Eve (Chili).  Also having repairs at the MIL house and my vehicles and personal tax from Estate income...

Clynn - sorry to read about your eye problem - hope they can get you back to normal soon - congrates on the new kittens, don't let them wear you out  ;) ...

E4E - hope the storms are not effecting you too bad

Surprised that Ohio State was the first BIG10 team to lose a bowl game this season...

Tig - looks like another great restaurant
