"Winter" by Vivaldi....this you tube vid also describes in words each movement..just lovely and my mood today.

Met the mailman in my driveway as I was mowing/blowing for maybe the 3rd or 4th time this week. Our ferocious winds the last few days blew all the across the street maple leaves into my yard/driveway...The mailman said yes he noticed the oldest gal on the block was the only one cleaning up except for paid services which only come once a week or less....we got a chuckle out of it anyway.
I'm sure I have at least 2 more mows up front and a final one in back yet to go.
The winds need to switch direction for me!..but rarely do they come out of our east. LOL

Don't forget tomorrow it's proclaimed to observe 2 minutes of silence at 1:11...I have it in my calendar for tomorrow.

Miss you Scotty! but of course we will remember your service and your early death because of it. :(

HI BISCHUE - Glad you could stop in.  Hope all is well. Is your grandson still with you?

KB   Frustrating winds for you.  Very windy here as well . We still have half a tree to shed leaves.

Our DQ will be closed this weekend for the winter.  All ice cream - buy one get one free Thurs thru Sunday.  With our freezer packed I had to get quite creative in hiding 2 mini blizzards and 2 buster bars .... ::)

Happy Veterans Day, today and tomorrow!   Good to celebrate and remember them every day!

Excellent picture if Bella in her 50s attire!  She looks very grown up!    Cute baby siamese kitties!   My favorites are seal point!   Have never met a blue point!!

Tge sasansqua camellias are in bloom off my patio!  They are a reap erry color and as the petals fall off they are covering the ground around the bushes.  So pretty! Love having spots of color all year!

KAREN  One good thing about living in a warmer climate is color all year round.  It was odd when we used to go to Florida while it was winter season up here - they would have the most beautiful impatiens decorating homes.

LISA    LOL  About 8 PM I will come down and open the freezer - I do this often to get a frozen yogurt for my snack.  His back is to me so I can easily sneak that upstairs LOL  I'm drooling already. ::)

OLDGUY    Hope these earthquakes don't wipe Iceland off the map  :o :o :o   Carol has a very rapt audience at CowChella  ;D   Maru and the boxes was so funny.  ;D

BAZI  Lulu may have been trying to sniff out some treats but no luck  ;) ;)    You are doing a stellar job at keeping up with your walking.  :-*

Tsk, I never heard of a DQ closing for the winter!  I ate ice cream in the winter in Chicago!  Perhaps the operators of this one head south for the winter! ?
Baz, these Camellias are the small flowers that bloom in the Fall.  I have three of the larger flowering bushes that bloom in the winter!   As Tsk said, good job on the walking!

Thank you to ALL our Veterans who have served.  I know this is a little early in posting, but never to early to say Thank You to All.

Phyl - No prob about the link! :)  The Cranberry brie bowl looks delish!   Phyl, you mention that one of your brothers was born on Veteran's day, so was my Grandma (my Mom's mother).  A very special day for many reasons! :-*

LisaG - Yaay, so glad that they installed the software in Jeff's car and everything is all good & fine!

Blschue - Oh my gosh - so good to see you!!!!  Thank you for popping in.  Hope you have been doing well.

Today I went to Kohl's to do a little shopping and I couldn't believe how busy the store was!  I'm sure tomorrow and the weekend will be busier!  This being a Friday and I stood in a line at about 12:45 with probably two dozen folks ahead of me!  I didn't mind tho, as I am not in a hurry, but just the fact how busy and popular the store is!!!

I will pop in quickly in the morning and then get busy to head into a nearby town (30 minute drive) for a celebration of life.   I will only stay for a couple of hours at most, as I am pet sitting for our neighbors and want to feed them on schedule.  They are the neighbors that have a huge tortoise, a rabbit, an aquarium of fish, and a dog!

Normally I would have my Mom & sister over here tomorrow, but they will come on Sunday. :) :-*
