Hi Arcadia- thanks for the pompom routine.  The procedure did seem to do the job on my spine so I'm geared for a similar outcome on hips.

HD delivered a fish this morning, and DH2 did a great job tearing into it.  The 3 gosling. and 6 gosling family of geese down by pond.

About 2:30 to 3:00 this afternoon, DH2 picking at a fish, practicing grasping it with talons while wingercizing.  Fish makes a good anchor!

Artsy view of HD and HM on watch at 4:30.  Good job, cam ops!

Those two goose families stay together -- could one be from N2B?

Windy early this morning, and DH2 made a little air hop while wingercizing.

HD brought some kind of medium sized bird for DH2 about 11:00. HD defeathered part of it and left DH2 to figure it out.

Lisa, looks like N1 got new carpeting!  Nice soft, and mostly clean surface for DH2.

HD dropped off a fish for DH2 about 6:00 this morning, and left right away.  Fish headless and not floppy, for easy eating.
Baltimore oriole male perched near the nest and singing.  They often build a hanging nest nearby -- cam ops, here's a challenge for you to find it.

Love the heraldic pose.  Great pics Lisa.

For watchers who might not be keeping up with DNN, the 5 grackle chicks perished overnight. Cause unknown.  Grackles can raise 2 broods per year, so they might still be successful elsewhere.
