T40, such sad news that we have lost D36. And especially that it was from being hit by a car, so could have been preventable.  RRP does so much to protect eagles and other raptors, to lose one is heart wrenching.

So Sad!  So Very Sad  :'(

Enjoyed so much following his pathways and adventures.  Much appreciation and love too to those behind the tracking and knowledge you shared with us.

Loved watching and sharing your journeys.

Anyone remember I think NBG? East coast eagle cam.  Norfok?
The female was killed by a plane, leaving 3 young.
Rehab took them and fixed a transmitter on one female I called Nixy.  They followed her by GPS and she was killed eating  a roadside carcas.

Yep - always sad to see them fly over Rainbow Bridge to share the joys on the other side

Morning pics from Decorah - A sub-adult was around this morning, and HM was not happy about it. HD flew in, and chased the sub-adult off.

I'm very sorry to read the news of the death of our beautiful D36. We've lost so many over the years and I assume more than we even know. It's a tough world out there for wildlife. Soar high and free, D36.

Lisa, great foggy pic!  It's like this at the North nest also.  Fog or mist seems common at this time of year if I recall correctly.

The geese are very noisy this morning, but the racket doesn't seem to bother DH2.  HM and HD are close by if not on N1 all the time.
