A few morning pics from Decorah - Not sure which, it could be both at different times, but HM or HM was seen this morning perched over near the N2B trees, on the haybale behind N2B, and then in the field gather husks behind N2B.

Great pics, Lisa!  I got the same ones, and also two horses grazing in the field upstream from the Y.  Probably belong to the neighbors, do you know?

Nice flying views at the time of our pics, too.

The horses have been shown a few times, and there is a few houses past the nest to the West, so I am guessing they might belong to one of those homeowners.

Good views of HD or HM in flyaround early this morning, including a swoop at the Pond area near the dock.  I didn't get a picture.  Is that a TV truck in the pic from Phyl?  Or maybe RRP installing new cameras?   ;)

Morning pics from Decorah - Looked like HM this morning perched in trees below the bluff, before heading out to the area behind N2B

Very colorful sunrise here at Decorah, at DNN, at GSB, and the Flyway.  Thank you Mother Nature!   ;D

HD (I think) got a fish about 9:00 from the stream area near the Bluffs.  Nice fly-around to find a branch for eating it on.  Squirrel on the N1 branch and a Red-tailed hawk on a perching branch, also near N1 I think.

T40 - Thanks for the video.

I got a snap or two of the young one from earlier today. Must have been hungry, as there is only a few fish left in nest now, it looks like.

Good timing LISAG  I noticed a bit earlier that N1 had been redecorated.  I wondered when or if anyone else had noticed.  You not only saw who the culprit was, you captured it in the act.  The fish had been rearranged.  Nice timing.

Sounds like a good time was had by all today at your homestead.  That's nice.

Also, for Lori. . . Would you believe - Couple things from last week - I commented that the pic of wreath on a front door was an exact duplicate of the wreath on my door.  I don't remember who it was that posted her picture/wreath; maybe it even was you.  Now, today I see someone dressed their kitty in the exact same outfit on their kitty as I dress my welcome goose in for Thanksgiving.  Her kitty/my goose have the same squaw indian outfit.  Was that your kitty today?  Was it your wreath last week?

And, BTW, I don't think I mentioned that in my list of decoration collections.  I do have at least 40 outfits for my welcome goose.  hahaha  This lady's goofy!

Lisa, great to see pics of an eagle at N1, even though not HD or HM.  But I'm speculating that the activity on Thursday (Thanksgiving fish lunch) might have attracted their attention.  From some views, it appears that they spent time perching high in the pasture trees this morning.  And one might have perched on the Y or the branch similar to the Y that's below N1.  What do you think?

STL - It looked to me that the trees they were perched in your first two pics were across the bridge by N2B area.  The last pic of HM looks to be on N1, on that north side of the tree where they use to perch at night.  Was looking thru my old pics, and have some similar to that.

A GHO visited the nest at around 6:29am, and either HM or HD perched treetop by bluff perch.
