Jaspur, yes, I seriously didn't think we'd see him again after that night; the poor little guy looked so pathetic. He really did seem to make an effort to hang in there, and he did great.  Hope to see them in the tree on the outdoor cam.

6.30- am I see a bird in that tree
too far to ID it
and as I type another bird flew by

10.30 am  4 kestrels perched on that straight out branch

Thanks, Shep!  I saw one kestrel on that branch last evening; looked to be an adult.
