Hi, I'm new to the forum, but started watching the La Crosse falcons last year.  I actually live a couple blocks away from them so can see them outside the nest also. 

I am also learning about Peregrine Falcons, so interesting.

Anyway I was looking back at the cam just now and noticed that one egg is smashed.  Is this accidentally done by the parents, does it happen often?

There was a large gap between egg 2 and egg 3
One egg was apparantly hollow - she ate it - which is normal and good
