Altho it seems 2 months too early, there is mating happening.
M 48 Essy and Flash are mating
Flash's talons are bright orange

2021 must have been his first breeding year.

He left and his lady came - and left - too fast to catch band - 89 or 48 ?

noon or so Flash came with a bloody bird, went inside, female came but didnt go in, so poor Flash left - with his bloody bird.  She sat on the green and kept looking over her shoulder.

That was a female.  She'll go inside ALONE, not with Flash - yet.
Poor Flash.

1 pm  Aero arrives alone, went inside, really gave the inside a detailed inspection!
OMG!  Mating out on the stick!  And I didnt have my finger on the trigger!
I MISS DVR!

I think this is Aero, I think Essy is gone - not sure tho

5.45 am  Aero perched and waited
Maybe 10 minutes later Flash arrived and flew straight into the box
Aero looked at him - peeped - and flew away

I saw her inside box, then she hopped up on green awhile, then back in box
10.20 am  mating

I wish we could see inside.  Ky and Calif have both laid eggs, why not Wisconsin

5.30 am  Aero arrives, perchs on green, looks around
I still wonder if there's an intruder

I saw 2 matings today. they were both there a lot
she is still at box at 6:44 pm in the rain
she is still there at 8:43pm. she goes in and out of box. could be soon
