Shep, thanks for the peeping info!  Eggs still intact at 4:30 PM changeover.

Will RRP be correct that today is a hatch day for Newman and Zooey?  Not so far. At the 10:30 changeover, looks like all four eggs are still intact.  Maybe this afternoon??

Anyone know what was swarming the nest box and drove (I believe) Newman out??  There was a thick swarm for a few minutes.

Nora, looks like some kind of bees.  Maybe looking for a place to nest themselves?

Four eggs at 3:00 today.

Maybe flies?  How do they know to show up near the hatch.  Whatever they are, they are annoying Newman and Zooey.

I hear peeping.  Don't know whether it is from eggs or falcon. Constant shimmy and rotating of eggs.  I think this is Newman in nest.  He is constantly moving in circles.  Nora/ Shep where are you?  6:40 PM.

709. I think this is Zooey.  No longer hear peeps.  She has calmed down. Not sure what was going on.

I've been checking in off and on at Great Spirit and also waiting for the last egg to hatch at Hibbard along with being outside off and on.

12:50  the peeping and shuffling has started again.

I saw the large flies, my guess was deerflies - nasty bite

Hope Zooey gets some rest this morning.  Amazing listening to the peeps from the eggs.  One of them is going to be areal screamer like Chance.

Looks like one of the eggs is in hatching process, 6:00 AM changeover.

STL, can you hear the peeping when she shuffles the eggs.  I hope the egg is OK.  I noticed that one of the eggs had a small dent last night when I was watching.
