Some predators will steal eggs. Not as likely with a nest like this as getting nestlings stolen, but still possible.

Around 8 am a very long barge came downriver.
2 ultra long solid cars - reminded me of a airport runway
Bet that was tricky to load!

Nothing happening hatch-wise yet, Jaspurr.  RRP has a notation on the live stream site that May 10 is their estimated date.

I've been really impressed with Zooey and Newman shimmying around with each change-over to get all 4 eggs under protection.

STL, Zooey has really stepped up to the plate when it comes to protecting the box.  When there was only Chance in the box she seemed to be constantly present.  I don't know about GHO measures at the box but Zooey's and Newman's constant presence hopefully will make the GHO's think twice about attacking the box this year.  I was glad Shen you decided to return to watching the box and saw and heard Chance.  I learned to turn the volume down on my computer watching her.  What a joy she was.  Getting excited about the new hatch.  In the meantime, I  enjoy watching the view of the Mississippi from the cam.

Lori, thanks for the video.  It's getting close to time for the eggs to hatch, and N and Z seem to roll the eggs more often. Restless wiggling for sure. 

Maybe peregrine egglets talk to the parents like BE eggs do??  So far this morning, I don't see any pips.  The changeover pic could be Z out and N coming in, or the other way round!  They are really quick, and I have to use the stop-action feature to get any clear pic at all.
