Red-tailed hawk in the snowy branches at about 1:15 PM.  Looks like near where the eagles were earlier today.

Betcha the snow makes prey easier to see.  But also harder to catch.

Thanks Clarinda.  The pair is back on the same branch location today, 10:30 or so.  Why move when you have this branch already cleaned off?

Hope your holidays are wonderful.
We got that bomb cyclone over Christmas---can't begin to say what a 'chillingly cold' experience that was !!! No electricity, then rolling blackouts, eating ice cold food, sitting in dark w/ candles, sleeping in our sweatsuits with forty-eleven quilts.
