Thanks for the video!

Beautiful sunrise colors this morning as foggy clouds drift over the water.  And Zooey (I think) on the feeding ledge, just looking fine.

Yes, Shep, falcons and amazing acrobatic flyers, and we are lucky to have them in N. America.

At GSB, peregrine is still around, probably Newman, this morning.

They are feeling the call south and will soon leave Minnesnowta.
I wonder if Z has taken off yet

( forgive me, I just hate the name Zoey )

Zooey was around the perching places mid-day today.  Most likely it was Zooey.

One large barge headed northbound through the locks about 1:00 this afternoon, and another headed south about 3:45.  Great camera work!

Closeup views of the early fall foliage, and an unknown flowering bush.

Shep, blue jays seem to scream at every creature they encounter.  They are particularly P.O.ed at me when I'm cleaning their birdbath!

Fall is my favorite season.  Love all the colors.

Shep, nice to have a namesake Peregrine!  That bird is banded, so definitely not Newman or Zooey.

There's one perched at the nest box this morning, unbanded, rusty, guessing it's Zooey.  I'd really like it to be Zooey.   :D

Seems like picture quality has recently improved here at GSB and also at the Flyway. Am I correct? New cameras?

Brilliant sunrise today, and a peregrine in the area.  Not so much barge traffic that I have seen, but trains and paddle-wheeler tourist boats are fun to watch.  Fall foliage is beautiful also.
