Jaspurr, I agree with you about the white dots as ID feature for Newman.  After molting, who knows if the dots will be there.  And peachy Zooey, for sure.

One was perched on the nest box camera housing early this morning, and both on the feeding ledge about 6:30 AM.  Newman is the smaller of the two.  Zooey, like Peregrine adult females, is a hunk!

Jaspurr, what's the date on the pic of Newman that you posted from Ginger?  We'll see if Newman retains the white feather dots on his head.

Shep, the southbound train had 5 engines, I believe.  Pulling a really long train, or over mountains?  The northbound was on a siding and standing still.  There's a protocol about which train gets the right of way, isn't there?  Thanks for the heads-up.
