jicaji, I agree probably cheaper for the ins co. That stinks. But they still raise our rates don't they!
On the brighter side your new microwave arrives today!  :)
And a good eleventh day to song!

STLbf, I agree. Great ending to song!

Happy New Year to you too!

jicaji, Snowing here now. Started earlier. Amount upgraded to 3 to 5 inches now and fluffy. Maybe a broom will sweep aside I hope.
Any changes for your area?

Did your microwave arrive today?

Well, once again, they were wrong.  One to three inches looks like about a foot of snow as I look out the window.  I have to admit, it does look beautiful outside.

Paulie, my microwave is now coming tomorrow....Saturday....we'll see.  Funny how I'm actually getting used to NOT using it.  It turns out it's not the end of the world.  I just have to keep reminding myself to defrost on my counter whatever I'm going to make for dinner rather than just opening the microwave to "defrost." LOL.

LB, Good that you planned to take your time driving to work. GMA morning news said a state of emergency was declared for NJ. You be careful! Hopefully work told you to stay home to work remotely today. Uh-oh to it being a bad work week.

jicaji, Geesh okay to microwave arriving Saturday .. hopefully! Good that you're getting used to not using one. Interesting how we adapt to things when we have to. There's no other choice really. lol All these years I haven't defrosted anything in my microwave. I've always used counter top. Maybe I should try it.

My area got the predicted snow plus some additional. Total 5 to 7 inches. Temp now is 25 with feels like 11. Very high winds now and strong gusts. Brrrrrr

jicaji, Forget? We don't forget things do we?  ;D

LB, Check in when you can so we know you got home safely. TGIF for you!

I saw this on my Nextdoor site today. Kinda long but guaranteed we each can relate to some of these. Enjoy.  :)

Good Morning and Brrrrrrr!

baz, I'm glad you enjoyed them.  :)

LB, Good you made it to work ok. Good to you enjoying the list too. Definitely some good ones.
Tell us more about Copper playing hide n seek!  :)
Ice here tomorrow too. Ugh! I'm ready for spring!
Be careful walking around your complex. Copper too.

jicaji, Good to you enjoying the list too. Definitely some good ones. I did lol at 10. I agree to 18 too. Lots of them to relate to. Lol
Let us know if your microwave arrives today.

I'm planning a day (definitely staying inside my house in this weather) and sleepover tonight with my 7 yr granddaughter. Maybe the 14 year old too. When my oldest granddaughter is here with the youngest one she's a big help to me. We shall see.

Yesterday #2 definitely
Today #3

Paulie....Micowave on the way...delivery today.....Fingers crossed.
Have fun with your granddaughters.  Do you ever have a day with NOTHING to do? LOL

My little chipmunk is in hybernation....However, every once in awhile I see her stick her little head out to see if it's Spring yet.  She lives under a small wooden platform on the ground by my deck.  I was concerned with all this snow how she would manage....Well, she made two tiny holes in the snow ...Kind of an exit and entrance by one of the corners, front and side....My husband put a few pieces of fruit, etc. for her right by one of the holes.  Hopefully she'll find it.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Jicaji Love the story of the lil chip munk I would be in heaven watching.  I got my squirrells and birds back so far no rats.
Copper hide and seek

when I first walk in to the left is an open doorway to the kitchen Its like a gally ? Kitchen. If you go straight from the front door then make a right is a tiny hall which leads to bathroom bedroom and washer dryer.  On the other end is anotheropen door wat which leads to dining area. than its all open to the right is the living room which you can get to the kitchen both  ends of living room. so yu pretty much can run laps in circle.  I hope I made it clear.
So if I get up to go to the kitchen copper will come from one end to see where I am then  I run to the other end of kitchen close to living room  and stand where he cant see me. as he turns around to  meet me from the other end  I run to the other end and stand where he cant see me. we go back and fourth that way. Sometime he will go into the bedroom to see if  I went there. Sometimes I do go there when he is in the dining area when he cant see me go there.  He will also go to the front door and smell it to see if I left  LOL  sometimes he tricks me and doesnt go all the way so when I go around corner he is standig there.  LOL   He seems to like it but he has such a blank look in his face I cant tell. His tail wags.

WE went for a walk and he started limping twice.  I think the salt they put down is not pet friendly so I turned around to go back didnt want him to do his long walk with all the salt  :(
