At least with MN winters I don't have to worry about these guys!

A light but factual article about a 20 pound iguana that fell on a man's face....in Miami doing outdoor yoga. They get up to 5 feet long!

Ugg...I wondered why 2 cop cars visited the apartment across the street last night..

I reviewed my video and heard from a different neighbor....Someone had their car stolen last night. I was outside with Ollie and back inside just 2 minutes before the dark SUV drove by, saw the car parked in the driveway without it's owner in it, he had just run in for a few minutes, they turned around in the parking lot, one got out and stole the guys car...I saw the owner come out maybe 5 minutes later and saw his car was gone.

Can't see the license plate.....oh maybe I'll zoom in closer but most likely too far away.

Don't leave your keys in your car even for a minute peeps.

EAGLES  Like your drip Mr Coffee  :) ;)  Good visit for Star  :)

KB    Wonder how long it would take me to recover from an iguana falling on my face  LOL  I think when LANI lived in the desert she reported something falling on her as well?? Some large spider??

Very wet snow still falling.

GLY returning home to a surprise!

L (mom) announcing the news of their new chick!

Good morning Beakers!
Morning Blschue, Lilbro, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, Karen, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, ssrl, Maxie, and All!

Eagles, your cams for safety... I've been watching a detective series, called See No Evil. It's a True Crime series on how the police have solved crimes by the use of cams, whether on business properties, streets or residential. If they didn't have these cams available to them, there would be more cold cases... Its made me alert when I'm entering Walmart, shops, etc. Did you know Walmart keeps a hidden cam in outside vending machines or toy vending machines near entrances facing the parking lot? The other thing that amazes me is how many seniors or single women go to Walmart between the hours of 11pm and 5am!  ??? Thankfully, I'm learning what not to do.  :-\ ... I hope all goes well for sweet Star's annual check up  :-*

Tsk, I hope it doesn't snow too much for you. Mike can't help anymore, so I've done the snow shoveling duties these days. He makes sure I have a nice hot cup of tea when I go in. :)
A 3foot coachwhip snake was hiding behind a potted vine plant I had on the top shelf of the baker's rack on the front entrance of our former Scottsdale home. I had just returned home from Lowe's with plants, I set a large pot on the middle shelf of the baker's rack.  I heard the sound like a train, turned toward the sound and the snake stared and hissed. I turned and it struck my right ear, my eye glasses flew several feet away, it dropped on my feet, I looked to make sure it wasn't a rattler and it slithered passed my dog Barkley and went into the open door of the house. I ran to the neighbors for help. Barkley had followed the snake in and had it cornered behind the front door. Neighbors came to help me, one picked up the snake with a catcher and the other helped me call 911 to make sure I didn't need immediate medical care. I did have a nice cut on my right ear lobe, it healed after a couple of weeks. I have a scar and a small split on my ear lobe. And a terrible fear of snakes.

Lisa, I hope the weather is good for your mama and aunt on the big day!  ;D

Kb, sweet morning pic... so true about the great musicians and singers of our time!  Good God, I don't think I could recover from having a iguana falling on me!! Geez  :o :o :o

Clynn, I can't imagine Miss Bella will be five! Geez, the time flies by too quickly... Sadie loves the snow, she loves to stick her nose deep in and smell strange animal scents. We saw large fresh tracks in the snow with claws. I'm going to do a little exploring online to see if it's a wolf or Mountain Lion track. It's not a coyote or dog, it's too big! Sadie's hackles went up and she growled in that area.

Oldguy, thanks for link.

Phyl, thanks for Amy's blog and Decorah North pics... thanks for articles, will read later. I re-roll our TP after Norman has his fun! Other than that I keep it up where he can't reach it.

tsk - You better not try and snow blow, or you may be in more pain.  Do you have a neighbor that can help you out?

E4E - Those croissants sure did look yummy.  Good luck to Star at her appointment.

kb - Yikes, on the Iguana on the man's face.  Yes, not good to leave your keys in the car.

Lani - Oh my gosh, the snake story!  I probably would have died of a heart attack.  Aww, GLY, seeing his Royal baby!

Clynn - Ha!....I am younger than all on your aging musician list :D
Not by much but still...
We were lucky enough imho to listen to the greatest musicians and so darn many of them...just our age and/or a decade older or so.

kb, I am also younger than all on the list...we are the same age I believe!

Bella and I have already done some art work, now she is having some Ah-pad time with a snack she created of popcorn, Hersheys chocolate and M&Ms! She wanted mac and cheese at 9:30!

A few hours later.  We went all through the baby doll stuff I had, and of course, she needs almost all of it for her baby doll.! We had to wrap several pieces of candy, she loves to wrap presents! Lunch, nail painting (she wanted 5 colors!) Littlest Pet Shop critters, a couple of games and now she is on the Ah-Pad. She hasn't looked at it much today.

Lani, glad to see GLY home to see the little one! So now Mom goes off, right? Oohn your snake storyn it gave me the heebie jeebies! I have to keep my paper towels in a cabinet, that Harley!

tsk, then you are having wet snow like we had last week. Broke a couple of branches on one of my pines, the lower limbs were on the ground.[/size]

LANI  Is See No Evil a streamed series or Network?  So between 11 and 5 is NOT the time to go to Walmart if you are a senior?  Yes,  Lani, that is the terrible story I remember you told us about years ago.  What a nightmare and you have some residual scarring as a result.  Let us know if you discover the tracks animal.  Proud papa Royal Gly

LISA   LOL  Tim procrastinated so long - he ran his errands first - that he is not snow blowing because it is too heavy and will melt anyway .

Am wishing for spring. ;) ;)....way too early.

Morning all.

Yup, a 30 minute walk for Ollie man and I in the winter....in summer, more like 25..... :) I don't let Ollie man walk me....I walk him and only a nano second allowed for those sniffs of yellow snow...still, I take it steady and careful on ice. My town set it's grid straight...

Nothing wrong with 'wishing for Spring. My mind's there already.
I wish you walked your dog down my street. Very considerate of others property and all.

clynn - Sounds like Bella had a fun day at Grandma's!  Pics coming soon?

tsk - I agree with Tim, it will melt.   :D

tig, Phyl and kb - Howdy  :)

A very good friend of ours from Georgia shipped Jeff and I, not one but two King Cakes today.  :o  He said, we could share them with anyone we wanted, so I am going to bring the other one to Bradley and Kelly.  Two King Cakes in this house could be dangerous for me.  ;D

Have a good night, everyone!

Clynn just luv the mini square butter crackers as furniture. Fun to eat.
Sounds like you and Bella had a busy day. And, lots of 'fun' food.
LesleytheBirdNerd , we have Carolina Black Cap chickadees daily and truly are a sweet little bird. Your musicians age chart---well I'm too young!

Lisa Here you go:   the Coffee wall art I posted is sold on 'Great Big Canvus'.com  . But, hurry they say the sale 'ends soon'  https://www.greatbigcanvas.com/view/coffee-shop,2253069/?content-group=b&utm_expid=126186327-8.SOpk0ynxQiu1zzz1RPY30g.1&s=owxrJAJQl0bHm286Mq6EinCZZ1UBdNYub8zyM9152v4gAw0J36CBaMB2T1&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.greatbigcanvas.com%2Fcategory%2Fcommercial-decor%2Fcafe-decor%2F%3Fpagesize%3D90&epik=dj0yJnU9S0dJOTctbFUwc1NlU0l1TFFqZUZiRFQtci1zVHM3R0ImcD0wJm49ZUw4Qlkza2ZrUFMwWGNuVHd2QlAzUSZ0PUFBQUFBR1BSdWhn

Tsk nice snowfall gif today. No snowblowing for either of you.  Yes. The days will s-l-ow-l-y become longer.  ;D
Nope. The TP can't be reused for it's original purpose-not after the cats been on it and then all over the floor.
.That's what I meant by 'waste'.

Eagles that is one of the cutest gifs you've posted in the AM. Good visit for Star

KB that  20 pound iguana  news story   :o ; The police would really love to see your video on that car thieft.

Lani good grief! Do be extra careful with those outdoor jobs...snakes and all.  You were very fortunate then.   :-*
When I see snakes I back away very slowly and keep my eyes on them  ...

Hi Tig

Lisa Publix is taking orders on King Cakes---Jim put in for a cinnamon---I can barely wait with a cup of hot coffee!
