Tsk, Happy Tim slept well. I hope he does the same tonight too.... Roku is in small sizes, new ones is about 2"x3"

Jaspurr, I do not have a cable box on my screen TV...  I have 38 channels on my Roku, you could have more, , Mike has 10 on his, but he doesn't like to use it, he has a cable box, Aly has more on her downstairs screen tv. I mainly stream ACORN, BRITBOX, PRIME VIDEO, PBS, (I pay monthly fees to use this 4) Youtube, DISCOVERY+, PARAMOUNT+.. on Discovery+ I can watch the Magnolia Channel, HGTV, Detective, etc. on ACORN and Britbox I watch British, Australian, New Zealand, Scotland, UK TV shows, past and present. Right now I have Big Brother live cam on via Paramount+  ;D ..

Baz, I hate hunting season, it's a hard time for Dr Rogers/staff, but he has Ely residents that help keep track of the bears during hunting season too.

Peep, interesting to see them sleeping/floating like that.

Phyl, Beautiful Lancer loves her home base.

{{{Hugs Lisa}}} safe travels and hugs for your mama!  :-*

Eagles, Mike has been busy, busy. He sounded very tired tonight. I'm so glad he didn't have to do any driving. He'll be returning home tomorrow afternoon  ;D. SED  :-*

CRISP FRIDAY MORNING EVERYONE

LANI   Using your method you can really specialize your viewing and only pay for what you like.  I can name less than 10 channels I watch on cable.   Sure is nice for Mike to have company on this trip.

Off to Milwaukee in a bit.  Joining bro and SIL and 3 great nieces - twins 9 yrs and a 5 yr old.  We are going to the zoo and will picnic.  We haven't done this since before Covid so will be fun before school starts for them.  Aunt Sue treats with ice cream sundaes at the end - YAY   ;D

2022 Stream Shutdown Announcement

https://www.raptorresource.org/2022/08/10/2022-stream-shutdown-announcement/

 August 10, 2022  RaptorResource
We’re so glad we got to spend time with all of you this year – a wonderful year at the North nest and a hilarious, sometimes difficult, but ultimately hopeful year in Decorah! We’ll be shutting down our Decorah and Decorah North streams for maintenance on Saturday, August 20, at 5:00 PM CDT. Please join us for special celebratory chats and an end of the season fundraiser on our website from 3pm to 5pm on shutdown day. We’ll be reminiscing about the Decorah North family, talking about the new pair of eagles at N1 and the Canada geese at N2B, and sharing whatever we know about Mom and DM2. We look forward to seeing you there!

Decorah North Eagles: https://www.raptorresource.org/birdcams/decorah-north-nest/
Decorah Trout Hatchery Eagles: https://www.raptorresource.org/birdcams/decorah-eagles/
Thank you to our camera operators and videomakers for sharing the lives of our eagles and the world around them, to our moderators for telling their stories and building the eagle community, and to you for watching, sharing, learning, and especially for caring! Your support and enthusiasm make a huge difference.

We’ll be back for the 2023 season in early October!

Good Morning Beakers!  Good morning Phyl, lilbro, jaspurr, & Lani!

Lani, I bet Mike will be so glad to be home, prayers for a safe and easy trip for him...I have been wanting to get rid of Dish, even more now! I had a 2 year contract that ended early July. June was was $107, July was $125 and August was $147. I checked online asking if there was a price increase, and it said they had to raise their price $5 due to inflation. I guess these two increases were just normal gouging... Love, love your goodnight pic of the three doggies cuddled together on the dog bed! Hope Aly is doing well, and the Furkids!

E4E, Erin and Bella stopped by yesterday evening, Erin and a friend were cutting up some of the logs we got from the tree that was cut down across the street. Erin took this pic of Bella..

Lisa, travel prayers for you today and tomorrow! You and Mom are going to have a great time together! Jeff will be outnumbered!

tsk, did your Mom have a long pole/stick that was used to raise the clothesline after the clothes were hung? The 2nd photo was something no one was to see! LOLOL!

Phyl, love the sweet felted bunny family! Yes, looks like many hours of work for sure! Lancer is looking good! Great 'the gang's all here'! Thanks for the info on the Decorah cams, hope to see the new couple on N1 this fall!

lilbro, good to see you! Hope you are getting a break now and then!

Peeps, I am so glad to hear that the Puffins still gather, I was worried about Flo being all alone, but she is having fun with her friends for a while! Sweet card in her burrow! I agree with tsk, a great big waterbed for the Puffins!

lilbro messaged this picture to me, wild horses in Reno!

Yes Puff!....I've just been watching it since around 5am!...

Eagles4 - Ollie man is just fine...somehow he knows it's raining without seeing it and refuses to go outside and go potty....he will eventually and we let him out last night around 10pm....maybe he knew then it was coming this morning?....LOL

Lani - love your goodnight pic..

For once I timed dropping the milorganite on my front yard correctly....it actually doesn't have to rain on it as it doesn't burn the grass....Wisconsin treated waste plus iron is all....but now it actually might green up the grass very nicely!

Interesting that you mentioned the use of treated waste as a soil treatment/fertilizer.  Local tribune did a multiple page report on Sunday on the treatment and use of "sluj" given free to Chgo residents over the years.  Current dire follow-up stats of physical effect have now stopped this practice.  I'd rescue and quote the ugly results except for the fact that the news papers went out with the recycle yesterday.  My family lived close and was close to the distribution site, think my dad even used it.  (It worked and was free back then.)  Facility was the Chicago Sanitary District. Caution!

Hmm....why does the Twin Cities have the highest grocery prices in the country?...the Midwest is high, but we are even higher?.

The article writer also doesn't know why.

Puff - look up Milorganite...not to worry...even Missouri parks has used it for years. The benefits to lawn care are as I said no burning of grass....many peeps I know have used it for years but this is my first try as I "stripped" my lawn this year using Scott's fertilizer and crab grass preventer in the spring. Also used in perennial gardens
