jaspurr - We got the thunder and lightning, and its still raining.  Trying to type and post from my tablet.

kb - Thanks for the article on the Condors.

Peep - Any signs of a pip?

Have a good night everyone.

Not yet with Willie and Millie, but they are on pip watch with the LPC Loon! Some say they can hear chirps from the eggs (?)

LISA   How was the quiche?  Looks good   I had the mechanic talk with Tim cuz I never understand that stuff.  Some switch was stuck and it had something to do with the oil   ::) ::) ::)

KB   I think humans have likely made several mistakes re managing nature but if that's what it takes and they can learn by it - all the better.  Thanks for the article.  Kind of like that with medicine as well - remember mercurochrome?

BL   thanks goodness you made it home in time for Chewy  ;D

Won't see pics for a while cuz of how everything looks when you just plant it - all wilted.

BL, LISA there was a lightning flash near hear that looked more like an explosion than lightning.  Accompanied by   multiple intense thunder claps that shook the house multiple times.  I thought the windows were going to break.  I have never seen or heard a lightning strike/thunder like that.  LISA, watch the radar, I am showing another round around 11PM.

Tsk - the quiche was delicious.  If you make it, make sure you use a deep dish pie crust.  Mine wasn’t, and it overflowed a lil.  I also added half a chopped onion to it while frying the sausage. Look on my Facebook page, there is a pic of it.  :)

Jaspurr - Thanks for the heads up!  I know what you mean with the thunder and lightning.  Bandit was sitting on his box at the front door when it started, and he ran down the hall and has not come out of a Bradley’s room, cause he still hears the rumbling.

Waving to All the Beakers!  :)

Lisa and Jaspurr, I saw those big severe thunderstorms going through your general area today - lots of power outages west of you... I hope you have kept your power!  Torrential rains, high winds, and hail. I hope there was no damage at your homes.

P.S. Lisa, you're holding out on us by not posting your picture of that yummy-sounding quiche here, for those of us who don't use FB.  :'(

Lani, I was following all the rain forecast for NM and AZ, and wondered if your area got lucky with getting any of it. Fingers crossed that 30% chance today found your street.  Hope it was a good trip to the valley today!

TSK, Lucy is funny!!   ;D  Glad she's home safe.  :) :-*  Yep, Mercurochrome, Merthiolate, and Iodine tincture were all medicine cabinet staples when I was growing up. Your car story!  :o  Your car story explanation!  ???  Hope it's a quick fix, and not a pricey one!

Clynn, I forgot to say the other day, what a great Father's Day pic you posted of the kids with Erin.  Like Father, like Son, on their haircuts!  :D

(((Karen)))  I hope you are feeling better, healing, and improving each day!

Goodnight Beakers. Peace. SED.

Hi Baz, just clouds floating by, no rain. Weather app says maybe Sunday. Take care.  :)

Clynn, darling baby joey, mama is gorgeous, her paws look very catlike. Great She Shed! Pixie was born 2015 to Donna, my bear avatar is her sister Dot, who was killed during hunting season.

Jaspurr, Storms sounds awful... take care.... I hoping for Otis's return too....6/22 little blue penguins are ‘feathering’ their own nest. It is the start of their breeding season, so they are busy - prepping. They are so darn cute.
Quiet - QT is zzz.  https://twitter.com/i/status/1539628592052969473

6/21 12:44#RoyalCam chick receives another supplementary feeding, due to her lower weight results from earlier today.
A big feed for QT & it all helps her growth progressing on her pathway to fledge. She does well, with the process taking approx. 4 mins.
Today it is more feast for the #RoyalCam chick.   After QT’s earlier supp. feeding - here comes a second course from YRK. Thanks again mum.

Tsk, glad you were near the car dealership. I hope it isn't a serious repair.

Peep, sweet baby loon

Lisa, sausage quiche looks delicious!  Send some rain over here. Take care.

BL, Kopje and Chewy  ;D Our cats received their boxes today too.

Eagles, it was hot in the valley, it's always a relief to turn around and return home...  We're driving tomorrow to Farmington, NM. Mike has a lime plant there that was started this spring. One of the employees are sick, so Mike will take his place and keep an eye on the shop for the weekend. Sadie and I will go along with him. It'll be Sadie's first long trip away from home... Take care.  :)

    Morning folks!!

Work this morning then off to Spearfish to get Jani a new washer. The 15 year old Whirlpool Duet gave up the ghost in the electronic controls and no can get parts.
After some research we decided on a Speed Queen TR7003WN.
Still built in Ripon , Wisconsin. They were not in stock in Gillette and itll be 6 weeks before they get any.  90 miles when you dont have a washer is trivial..
