Waving to All the Beakers!  :)

I loved the feel and smell of a stack of warm, freshly mimeographed handouts in school.  And, somehow, I could never be in the same room with a mimeograph machine without ending up with globs of blue ink on me or my clothes.  I was always leaving fingerprints behind from that, so I would never have been able to get away with a crime.

Tsk, my "one good tern."  You noticed!  ;)  Did your shawl group meet in the garage this time?

Waving Goodnight to All the Beakers. Peace. SED.

I serviced mimeograph machines in the 1980s - the fluid was a mix of methanol and isopropanol - smell it long enough, and you got a dangerous high... ::)

This is soooooooooooo   true OLDGUY.   The faculty really frowned upon  kids working with the stencils.
In grade school  some of the more advance students helped the teachers with certain 'projects'.  ;D
Here Comes The Sun... :)

I know the ink would come off the stencil when hooking on the securing 'bar' of the roller.  Got some on a white blouse, not much, Mom was peeved as it wasn't easy to remove. Luckily, I had my blouse untucked and it was on the part just below the waistbacd of my skirt.

BAZ- 'one good tern'  yeah. I got it too. Just didn't say anything...I do that alot. How did your fella make out in the race?

TSK- I thought that as well about the 'tea pot' nest.  Might have been a photo op.

EAGLES- ah yes.

I sure hope all Beaker's Tuesday sunrises find them well ..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pb64I6Adts
This one goes out to T40, Rocky Mtn way.

We did sit ( here ) this afternoon tasting, touching, smelling, seeing and listening to the awesomeness of Spring.
You could literally hear the Green grow.  :)

2 days of 90+° unusually hot humid May days.

The cold front came thru here real quiet with a sundown to sunrise soft rain.

70°, NW wind at 5-15 mph, low humidity, bluebird sky, this forest is as alive as I've ever sensed it .  8)

We hiked out with our headlamps on, on a sketchy foot trail well after sunset.

Turn off the artificial light on this moonless night?  PIP ?
Yes.

The nighttime critter chorus and other nature sounds kicked in on cue
The forest's smell, taste & temp changed cluing us in on it's course
Iris's focused on the light and then turned off now see
Muscle memory on boot soles kick in

This hard acquired "6th trail sense" is the one that has got me back home so far.
Don't try this at home kids, this weekend, your Uncle BL.    :)

Good Morning... :(

Currently:  60 F   and mostly cloudy. With a high temp   of  81F  and light rain  . And a low temp of   60  F    and T-storms  .
So quiet and peaceful out this morning. I'm suppose to get a shipment of Peanut Pick Outs today to appease the wildlife goddess and her children.

Good Morning Beakers!  Good morning BL, Phyl, oldguy, E4E & Lani!

BL, love the tune, love Neil Young... glad you and Pip are enjoying your heaven on Mother Earth! I can almost hear the Critter Chorus...

Phyl, oh those cute felted bunnies! We are getting a spell of rain starting later this morning, and continuing through tomorrow. The Harpy is HUGE!
Cute little cottage, I need to save that and make a puzzle!

Lani, so was Makalapa a part of the base housing for the Pearl Harbor Naval Base? In the Air Force there was on-base housing and off-base housing,
they always called it Capehart housing (I think that was the name of the company that built them). Love the sweet doggie nose...

Pink, so good to hear Mom is doing well and safe with your brother & family. I am sure your mind will be more at ease now, especially with an in-home
nurse! Our family is so thankful we have my sister's partner Jennifer (RN) in our family!

oldguy, nothing is as potent as the smell of fingernail polish! And certain magic markers (not Sanford, they stink...).

E4E, I tried cleaning with Ed 'helping' me. It was just like on the Hoarder shows, I put something in the trash, he takes it out. I need that, it might come in
handy someday. Everything in the KEEP box. He checks the trash when he knows I have been cleaning, he has pulled broken junk out of the trash. So, like when
he and Kelsey go to Springfield, I take the trash across the street and they put it out with theirs. I would take a picture of the Mole Hole but I am embarrassed! If
we have to have a repair person come in for something in the basement he is the one in charge, I won't be seen with that mess!  ;D ;D

Dana Schroeder - I was sitting in the yard enjoying the cool evening and clak, clak, clak in flys a Green Heron.
Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown
