{{{Hugs Eagle}}} What a special and memorable weekend you had with your loved ones.
Clynn, I remember my mom getting that baby card for my brother and sister. I'm 8 years older than my sister. I helped to make their bottles and was responsible for their feedings if I was at home or when mom went to her sometime jobs. No such thing as a sitter. 2nd thru 4th grade I missed 45 days of school in each year to take care of my siblings. Most of the time we had Carnation instant milk in a box. We were very poor, sometimes I used rice water for feedings. It all worked out in the end

... love the Cedar Wax Wings, I wish they would stay longer when they migrate to the north in the spring.
Tig, music is the soul of life! I love the older hymns. I am an Episcopalian I love the old Welsh hymns, we use to sing this one during Eucharist
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ofp6rdAgRrY I love the Gaithers too, I have a few cds, Lynda Randle is one of my favorites of his singers.
When I need a pick me up I listen to this, The Oak Ridge Boys join in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Szm3FRQhCX4Lynda Randle - God on the Mountain
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCTl4tUYIAgPhyl, that must be a Downton Abby pic you posted yesterday. The movie is here in Payson, Aly and I will wait to see it later this week, maybe after the holidays.
Jaspurr, the Kestrals are darling.... Thank God it's not as windy for QT. She's wide awake, I keep checking their updates and they haven't posted about the parents stopping by to feed her. I bet the heavy winds made it difficult.
Peep, yesterday's puffin and TRR pics are cute. I enjoy seeing how well TRR residents are doing... love the cuddle puddle of puppies

. I hope they are in a larger bed by now.... awww sweet Willie

Tsk, Dr Rogers must be the most contented man. Someday I hope I can go to Ely and visit the Bear Center. Great golf tournament yesterday! Thanks for recall alert.
Baz, I know it's sad to watch yearlings going through family breakup.

They are so confused by their mom's rejection. Most of the time siblings of the same sex will stay together and join other yearlings on their own and protect each other. Mother bears have done a good job of teaching their cubs how to defend themselves by climbing for safety in the white pines. Learning where and how to forage for food, water and of course where Dr Rogers keeps his food station

Also, Ely residents have learned through Dr Rogers how to maintain their food stations for bears, as well as recognizing the bears/yearlings and keeping Dr Rogers/staff informed.
