High is to be 70 today with a nice breeze, a possible shower or two. Goal today is to get all my new plants planted! I got a clematis so I will have to find
the new trellis I bought a few years back! Ed needs to get his tomatoes planted as well, I picked up the tomato plants from nr yesterday, and delivered her
20 lb bag of flour!

Phyl, the natural method of drawing blood...   I didn't work on the plants yesterday, did some things around the house so I would pretty much be
free today, after brunch with the kids. It was warmer than predicted yesterday, got to about 87 or so, today will be a wonderful 70!

Don't sweat the fertilizer 'stripes'. Poaceae with it's underground network has a way of working it's color out come mid-summer. 
As a teen landscaper I accidentally 'candy striped' a huge (4 football fields worth) of level field at a Day Camp in the Spring. Dang spreader. The owner was furious.

Come August it was lush and gorgeous and the kids were frolicking on it just like Ollie Man paying no mind to the hues. 

Spring has officially sprung here in the NE too.

Puff - I think it is a shorts or capri kinda day.   

BrokenLug - That is one thing I have never ate, Dinty Moore beef stew.  Like the saying on the sign that Jumbo is pointing to.

tsk - I had to laugh at your garage clean-up with Tim.  When Jeff wants to clean up and throw things away, it is usually MY stuff he wants to throw away, and never his stuff.

Was up early to spray some weeds and the clueless neighbor's errant pear tree shoots (no wind) and (hopefully) deer proof our evergreen. Also put down some Diatomaceous Earth on the ant patch out front. Opened the doors/screens for the first interior air clean of the year. Nice cool morning here.

Just lotsa water during the day... so we can finish the yummy pizza for supper.

Iwas her first client after she graduated vet school and I moved here.
