CLYNN   I think Lucy has gotten out maybe 4 times - Once we found her laying on the neighbor's front porch like she lived there  LOLOL  She has never gone beyond the neighbor to the west of us .  She could easily go through our fencing but she knows that's the limit.  Honey and Harley sound like they know a good escape when they see it  LOLOL  but they may be fearful and not go to far.  How great for the Bronx Zoo  ;D
Boy, I'll say on that She Shed!!

PEEPS   Looks like the adult swan was looking for treats  LOL

LANI   Have a good trip today - Think "snow"   ::) ::)   Thanks for the Brooks Falls update  ;D

JASPURR   They will finish today.

So on the way to look for a new planting at the nursery, the "emissions control" light goes on on my dash  :o ::)  The car starts vibrating and it gets difficult to begin acceleration.  We're two blocks from the nursery.  Book says let the engine cool and take to dealer.  We pick out something different  - dropped the car at the dealer - got a loaner and they will call us.  Inconvenient for sure but was glad I wasn't headed to Milwaukee or places further away.  We were only 10 min from dealer.  SIGH.  Got home in time to ask the supervising guy what he thought and he agreed would look good so he want to get the planting.

They are 3/4 done with the sod and plantings and the brick edge is up
Much cooler ( 83) today and until now when the sun came out they were in the shade.  They have 3 dozen chocolate chip cookies to devour and they've gone through almost 2 cases of water already  LOL  Tim just went to get more.

Good find, Jaspurr!.....oof the wind though...wasn't sure if two of those jets aborted the landing cause of crosswind or just practicing.....I am also unfamiliar with some of those odd looking planes.......thanks.

Probably stopped to refuel on their way home.  8 miles out for the break.  Miss it.  The Canadians fly some planes that I am not familiar with.  Saw the Snowbirds many years ago at an airshow in Ohio.  How are you doing?  We just had some exciting thunder/lightning.  The house shook.   ;D

Gotcha, thanks...

I have walked Ollie this morning early and watered gardens this morning all morning....a few indoor tasks as well.
Next week temps and weather will be better but no rain in sight.....so water bill will be high again this year..grrr...

Glad for you it was "just house shaking" ;)

jaspurr - I just looked outside...it was sunny about 30 minutes ago, and now its cloudy.

kb - Glad to hear that you and Ollie got out earlier this morning.

Peep - Oh my gosh, how cute!

tsk - Lucy laying on the neighbor's porch like she lived there  ;D  Oh no, sorry about your car.  Have you heard what might be wrong?  You are the chocolate chip cookie queen!

tig - Enjoy pool...the others no so much!   ;D

Lani - Enjoy your day of beauty and errands!

I am off to the kitchen to make this for dinner. Hope it taste good.  I might do a small salad with it.

https://undark.org/2022/06/22/how-the-yurok-tribe-is-bringing-back-the-california-condor/

A very interesting and important essay about the California Condor....what they did wrong early on and what they have learned. Releasing young condors habituated to humans and without their parents was originally a disaster...
Actually made me cry....They've learned a lot, but lead still remains a problem.

Not yet with Willie and Millie, but they are on pip watch with the LPC Loon! Some say they can hear chirps from the eggs (?)
