kb, yes, that picture popped up on FB, I follow the 'That's so Minnesota' page. His FB page has wonderful photos, Lavin Photography!

65 outside right now, spurts of rain off and on...will be gone by 4:00.

Peeps, wow, an egg already for Willie and Millie!  They are so cute, waddling in and out of the burrow, getting it ready for the new little one!

baz, love the pics of Lil' Punkin and Baby Bro, they will have such fun together!  He is a dang messy eater! But oh so cute!

Lisa, wish I could mail you some vincas!

Lani, beautiful beat picture!  So sweet of you to help Jane, it has to be sad for her...see you later...

karen - I am glad you are feeling a tad better.

Peep - Cool view of Willie outside the burrow.   :o An egg already?!?! Awww, Celine & Reggae

kb - Great pic of Ollie, and the pink flowers on your phody are pretty.  I caved and turned on the AC.  It was 77 degrees inside my house, hotter than outside which is 74.

nr - You have been busy with your plants too!

clynn - I wish you could too.  :)  The Agates are pretty.  Those are cool garden sleeves!

Chris ordered their roasted brussel sprouts

and chicken quesadillas, can't find the pic....we also ordered a cheesecake each: me lemon/raspberry and chris oreo...

We have plenty left over for today, so yah!....no cooking for today as well.

This really looks yummy.

Lisa - yeah I hear ya....I caved during our hot spell too...not yesterday or today yet...it's interesting as I have my thermostat set to like 76-78 to turn on the a/c...My house inside met that threshold yet ssrl and other's didn't...it's a very micro-environmental thing..when my house was 76 inside for example my sis' was still 71....depends on amount of asphalt, trees and house itself.

Phyl - just saw your post....and yes it's very yummy....I'm lucky I have a cheesecake factory nearby and they deliver....btw, as tsk commented on low calorie ordering for her and Tim...I go for for not only the taste but the high calorie, thank you very much!

BAZI   Sorry about our heat heading your way but to be honest I'm glad to see it go for a bit.  I'll be glad to wait til july/Aug. ::)  it has been such a relief today to be able to open the windows.  No rain yet - did hear some thunder tho.      "See you later"  LOLOL

KAREN   I'm THRILLED you got PT on Sunday - You knew that was going to make me happy. ;D  Boy, just be glad I'm not there  LOLOL  In my VA days at the end of the Vietnam war, I used to be called "Sarge"  ::) ::)   Don't worry, we can figure out the typing  LOL  Good to see you here more.  Let's us know you are a bit better.

PEEPS   If Millie just returned - how can she lay an egg so fast?  Certainly not from Willie??  I see JASPURR has the same concern  ???

KB    Glad to hear you took a day off  ;) ;)   I'm sure you burn off every one of those calories with all that you do.  You deserve it  ;D ;D

NRSTOOGE    You are a testament to healthy living and growing a lot of your own food.

CLYNN   That's a lot of sunbathers  ;D   How was brunch???

LORI   thank you  :-*

Tsk, I cannot imagine where nr keeps all those tomatoes.

Baz, baby bro is goingg to be afullback on sme foot football team ! U might have to change allegiences!

Lisa, a non native (mickey) did now to ask. I will ask.

Karen, LOL. You're right!!!  :D :D  Glad you're feeling up to reading and posting in Forum today.  Will TA get by for a visit while your vet is away?

Lisa, he is getting sooo big!  ;)  I can't believe you can't find any vincas!  Seems like they are everywhere here... I may have missed it, but did you already try places like Lowes Home Improvement and Walmart? I see them at those kinds of places here. And, of course the smaller family-run garden centers. My mother grew them every year. They did great in the spots that only got a little morning sun near the back screened in porch where I grew up.

Tig, I want to hear how that pepperoni stuffed crust pizza is... lots of ads for it on TV here.  I have wondered if it's as good as they make it look. LOL.

Peep, WHAT?!?!?  Millie!   ??? :o  You think they were rubbing noses somewhere before she showed up at their burrow? She got there just in time!  :o Willie is so sweet delivering the straw to cozy the nest up.  :-*

NR, you are a busy lady! Wow on all the plants and some coming in already! Did you plant the carrots in a cold frame?

Clynn, I haven't been to visit since Baby Bro was eating foods, but I think it goes straight onto the tray - no plates or bowls for him yet, as far as I can tell. Just finger food, or getting spoon-fed.  So he has a little head start on making that mess. But there's no doubt about it - he is a messy eater... but clearly, he is loving it! Ha ha ha! He's still on breast milk, too. I love that great colleciton of agates! I started seeing tiny new baby turtles in my pond this weekend. The pond turtles like to hang out together, but not quite like in those pics you posted! LOL.  :D

G'night Beakers. Not in my jammies, just signing off the computer till next time.  ;) Peace. SED.

P.S. There's a Super Flower Blood Moon lunar eclipse tonight! It will be a total lunar eclipse in the eastern third of the country, and differing amounts in other parts of the country. Different times in different places, so check your local news for info local to you, or you can read here for that info:

CLYNN-thanks for Ukraine pics; lovely photo of Charles City, Iowa ; baby robin hatchilings are so frail  :-*  Tks for MN_DNR and SWFL updates

OLDGUY-a good game of cards  :)    Dreadful about Wash DC eagles

HI KB you're so busy and seem to always have a nice garden.

LISA-it's gray and cloudy...rain?  I always have items for Goodwill and Salvation Army

TSK-got all my 'stuff' together to pot the citronella and marigolds prob do that tomorrow  and then Tues do some  weeding. I think Jim' planning on sterilizing  all the nesting boxes (again!) and the feeders before he restocks them. No hummers this season...will put nectar out anyway.

LANI-great brown bear ;  you're such a help to Jane, hope all goes well for her

BAZ nice photos of  littlest grand niece and lilbrother and a full day of fun

KAREN-nice to 'see' you in Beak again and glad you had PT and hope it well for you.

HI NRSTOOGE nice to 'see' you; sounds like you'll have a busy winter; all the best with dentist tomorrow

CLYNN - I like your weather this afternoon, I could still get the plants potted if it was like that here.  Lots a agates, never seen that color before.   I grew up knowing vinca as periwinkles the white with birght red centers are what mom had in the front beds.   I think there are blue and lavendar vinca and vinca minor. LOL Sunbathing turtles.

Thanks had the calendar marked for the next two mights. Great chart.  Interesting gardening sleeves.

tsk

I've already been rained on twice.  Once around 1pm (curbside pickup at Home Depot, sorry OG)  Second rain happened while in Wannamakers had rained when I came out at about 3:30.  Caused puddles in the lot.  Didn't get wet either time; timed just right.  Forgot to check gauge when I got home.

Tsk, they mate in the water, so it happened at sea.  :D She sure took her time catching up to Willie though!  ::)
