Clynn, nice photo of the pretty female Belted Kingfisher. I love watching them! I watch a male Belted Kingfisher dive-bomb my retention pond for fish nearly every day. LOL. He rarely misses! Sometimes I see a female, but the male is a regular fishing resident at my pond. Love his rattle! And it's a hoot to see him manage his catch after diving for it and landing with it on a tree branch next to the pond. He dives for another catch a few minutes after. They are very entertaining to watch. Oh, I LOVE that pic of Talon on his 8th birthday!!  :)  Chicken fried rice sounds yummm, too!

My GE Spacemaker microwave has been humming along, daily, since May, 2006. Fingers crossed!

I plan to use it for leftovers in a few minutes, and then I plan to attempt Etta's Savasana yoga pose.  ;D

baz - Fingers crossed for your 2006 microwave.  I have a very old one, too, a Kenmore Solid State Auto Defrost, and it is still humming along. Knock on Wood.  I think it is listed as vintage on Google.   ;D  I really hate to part with it, cause its is pretty large inside and I have not found another that I have liked that is as big.

T40 - Thanks for the Caturday video, and especially the eagle bonus videos.

Peep - Aww, Landon and Coco.

kb - We were in the mid-50's today, too.  Felt good.

Hello Beakers - Hope all are having a great caturday
It has been a busy week at work - got 21 hours in over 3 days.  Some of the Black Friday atmosphere was back this year - the parking lot was almost full at 6am opening.  Today started out the opposite, with almost no customers the first 3 hours.

Weather has been decent, with temps in the 20s to start and getting up to the mid 50s the past 4 days.

My Microwave is a senior appliance - I bought it in 1996 - a GE Dual Wave II - I have been looking for a replacement for over a year, but have not found anything near it in quality - my only problem at this time is that the display is getting dim and the interior light is also dim.

Good news about Aly! A lot of back and forth has been going on for the past few days!  ;D
The managing supervisor of Community Bridges North Arizona worked hard to keep her. And was able to get Community Bridges to agree to a salary of $52,000 per year, with a $10,000 year bonus. $2500 now and then quarterly for the next year. A payment of $6500 towards Aly's student loan, which is a drop in the bucket, but every bit helps. Good health care plan, as well as 401K. We are so thankful and happy for our hard working girl!!! She starts her new job in her own office December 19th. She will take her state license in January. It will be an intense few weeks as she studies for her license.  :)

C ongratulations are definitely in order for Aly!!  A winning employment 'deal' I'd say, IMHO.  Big hug from me to her via you.  ;)
