EAGLES  Sounds like a great first week   ;D

T40   Bet not too many people get a chance to play "jelly belly" with a jaguar  LOL :o   That second one was so funny esp the last one.  :o   Baily playing dead cracks me up every time   ;D

KB  Great news for Bonita Springs.  I suspect they are starting with the cities where it's easier to get power/water up and running.  Great news for your friend

PEEPS   Awww  Sweet little Benji  ;)

BAZI   So glad you checked in and all is well.

LANI   LOL  Love the kitty in the pumpkin - almost missed him. ::)  Nice Samson fly-in - catching some currents there  LOL

Update from Barb's place in Naples - their asst caretaker checked their unit and all others - NO WATER on the 2nd floor units YAY   However no screens on the lanai and their cupholders in their car were filled with water.   :o :o   Car did not start. They sent in a claim today.

LISA    So glad your 80 yr old former co-worker is OK but will be a different life for her now.  Does her dtr live in Florida?

tsk - Sorry to hear about Barb's car, but glad to hear there as no water in their unit.  Former co-workers younger daughter lives here in MD, but the older daughter just bought a house in FL, and moved there in June.  I want to say co-worker told me she moved to Port Charlotte area.

Howdy!
Haven't really read a word.
Just got home a bit ago. Traffic was a real booger!  >:(  What was a 30min drive via Interstate turned into 2 hrs having to go via downtown Nashville as the I-24 was backed up as if this was a workday.  ::)

Tsk My Flyboy did well taking 2 breaks to sit.  :-*

Oh Lisa I fueled the Kia!  He was thirsty at 3/4 empty and over $30 bucks and does to pay for it.

Lani in my post this AM, I meant I'd be celebrating Aly's achievements with y'all in spirit. In case that came out wrong.

Waving Baz

More about the exhibit tomorrow.  Suffice to say it was fabulous.  Took 2.5 hours and 75 digital photos of every single item and placquard.    ;D
Well, Maggie's pacing gthe floor and mewing for chow.
Take out is waiting.

Hopefully, BBL

Lisa good news for NEFL .  So glad your former co-worker is 'okay'.

Tig {{}}

Lani thanks. Jim knows his limits right now. He goes back to work this Monday with a Doc's note. He has a wonderful manager who will not push Jim at work.

Oldguy how was card game last night?  Tks for the links. Awww Chris's new kittens look similar to Cole and Marmalade and that's 'okay'  ;)  Always luv Penny.

Good Morning Beakers

oldguy - Thanks for the videos, and hope you had a good night at cards.  :)

tsk - Yes, what a welcome to Florida!  Jeff's cousin just moved last month to Punta Gorda from Maryland, and of course never has experienced anything like Ian.  She did post that the previous homeowner made hurricane repairs to the home she bought, so hers did not get much damage.  My got a message late last night from my former co-workers daughter.  She said, co-worker got one of her friends to take her by boat to check out her house.  The living part of the house seemed fine, but the garage was flooded.  She is staying with friends in Naples in the meantime.

Phyl - Glad you remembered to fuel up.  ;D  Sounds like you had a great time at the museum.

Lori - Love the gif from Katmai, and the way the bear on the end stands up and looks!   ;D

Lani - Pretty pics of the balloons at night.

Peep - Aww, pretty Puma!

The Frist Art Museum, Nashville

We really enjoyed this exhibit. I'm such a history enthusiast and can't pass these shows up.  ;D

Knights in Armor exhibit

https://fristartmuseum.org/exhibition/knights-in-armor
click here for a short video on the exhibit.

Or watch on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfGfVIBBgY8

For more info and  exhibition panels, fashion plates and becoming a knight:

https://fristartmuseum.org/knights-in-armor-exhibition-panels/

Here are just a few photos I took of armored suits on display.
The fabrics in the skirted  armor and on the horses are original  and hundreds of years old. The amazing condition of these garments is a testament to the care the groomsman and aides gave to the armor  and their knights.

PHYL  Congrats to Jim for the good exercise regimen yesterday  ;)  Too bad about the traffic however.  Wow  Can't believe Jim is going back to work Monday.  Hope he takes it easy.  I had no idea armor could be such a work of art.  Nor did I know some had skirted elements.  Fascinating.
Thanks for the link and your photos.

LORI  Truly those bears take a very curious look at the running moose  ;D  Time is a healer...

LISA   Your coworker is one lucky lady but regardless it could be a very long time before she gets to return?
