JASPURR   For the concerts there is a big grassy area in front of city hall so folks bring their coolers - come early and have a meal. You just bring your lawn chair and plop down.  You may have to walk a few blocks from where you park your car.   Booster 2 is over and I always plan the next day to have nothing on the schedule with any shot I get.  Chills/body aches/headache most of the night.   Took me til 10 to get out of bed and have been doing more as the day goes on - I hate injections  :P

So friggin hot here today.  Glad to be indoors.  Didn't even take Lucy out even tho she asked  ::)

HAPPY CATuRDAY BEAKERS!

I last posted Wednesday night, I think, so I have pages and pages of posts to read to catch up.  Maybe I can get to that later tonight. I had just seen that I missed Nora's birthday, so I wanted to make a quick post now.

((Tsk)), I just saw your post before mine just now. I hope you feel better fast!!  Thank you for the hug and wishes a few days ago to feel better.  :-*  The head pain/headache is a chronic condition that had gone away in early 2014, but returned this past spring/early summer,  ::)  thankfully in a much milder form than in the past. My fingers are crossed it won't get worse, and hopefully goes away again soon. It also affects hearing, vision, balance, and causes nausea, but the good news is that it's so much milder than before, that I haven't had any really major problems with vision and hearing, and the balance is only affected off and on, and the nausea and headache is also off and on - thankfully, it's off a lot! but still daily.  :P I mostly try to pretend it isn't there.  8)

Lots of stormy and wet weather in general areas of some Beakers, so I hope all are safe and above the high water mark.

Take care, Beakers.  Later gators!  :D

Redbox said 'Bullet Train' was pulled from their selections. No explainations.  Soooooo.

Clynn  luved your The Picture of the Century... Nature defeats Technology; Really enjoy zucchini 'straws'/fries so yummie w/ketchup.  Good 'ol Jack Sparrow and his Pirates. Disney's making a bundle off these filcks based on their theme park rides.  Although the rides are  great and the movies even better.   Tks for sharing Sue's Mom Decorah & DM2 update

Lisa    'I'm a simple woman'  moi aussi  ;);  yes bottle caps mostly from beer it looks like.

Tig iks-nay and ams-kray on the 'horror' film genre. I'm an action/adventure/comedy/mystery/historical kind of   gal.  We opted for  a suspensful 'Shutter Island' w/ Leo De Caprio last night.

T40 tks for the vids. Will finish watching later tonight

Eagles how was the car show...these are so cool to tour.

Tsk cute kitten banner this AM;  outdoor concerts a la improv are lots of fun.  Okay a 2nd booster for what?  Shingles or Covid?? What?  Just wondering...do hope you don't feel all 'yucky' like before.

Lisa WE have rain and T-storms forecasted over the next 10 days. Jim saw a window this AM and got 90% of our and Sadia's yards trimmed and mowed.  Then snap ,crackle and POP ! The downpour!   All's clear with sunny skies and 82F feels like 89F and 81% humidity. More rain later tonight...leave windows open for some good sleeping.
As per the Nat'l Weather Service we are under a flood advisory until tonight.

Dinner: will be a nice mesquite  marinated pork loin all rolled and secured for the grill; qucamole, green salad  w/chopped romas and topped w/ HVR avacado dressing,  tortilla chips and some firey salasa and queso dip.  Klondike bars as per Jim.   Dos XXs for Jim and Wicked Grove or maybe Sangria for me.

BAZI   Sounds awful - was it diagnosed as migraine?

PHYL   Shutter Island was one of the best books I read back then.  I forget when it came out.  I think I read most De Mille books but that was my favorite.  Of course the movie is never quite as good - at least that is what I thought when I saw it.  It was the second Covid booster.  LOLOL  " and behold a pale rider"  LOLOL    Great sounding dinner  ;D
