"Bob, Brett, and Ryan capture D1 in 2011. We tracked her until June of 2014. Her last location was on Hudson's Bay in Ontario, Canada. She was the first eagle for some many watchers - the first eagle watched, the first eagle followed, and the first eagle loved for her fierce determination. Watchers called her 'The Diva'."

Thank you for the nostalgia T40.  I didn't realize it had been that long since we heard from her. I believe her little family was my first experience of an eagle cam.

Good guess, Lisa!  Here's a pic of HD sitting on a T1 branch about 3:00 today.  Love that clear blue sky.

Maybe our cam op is an eagle
They sure have an eagle eye!   ;D
Thank you for the great catchs!

7.30+ am The eagle was in the nest.  I heard what  I interpret as an - alarm call.  It was a whisle kind of sound.  Then eagle flew off down the river.  I am familiar with the female breeding cry and the eagles chuckles.  This was a call I've never heard from an eagle.

It gives me warm fuzzies to see the magnificent beautiful powerful young eagle lying in the nest.

HM & HD spent a couple hours early this morning in the branches shown in the pic.  But where are they, exactly?

STL, this view is above N1.  I have seen the cam ops show it before.

From RRP's FB page:

How much have HD and HM been working on their nest? We made a short animation showing progress since October 14th! We can no longer see the ends of the lower branches on the left of the trunk or the downward pointing limbs that sprout from the gnarled limb on the right! N1 also appears to have gained some new branches thanks to HM's very large sticks!
I don't have a formal stick count, but we've recorded nestorations almost every day since October 14. It's been a very mild fall, but the two must know that winter is coming! 🦅❄️
