I think it is the male in the heraldic pose.

And we thought Mom and DM2 were photogenic!!  That heart-shaped pic is priceless, Lisa.  My conclusion is that all BEs are beautiful and handsome and worth every photo we can capture.   ;)

Wonder what the party is at the hatchery area.  Large meeting of turkey vultures at 7:25 next time?  At least a dozen; hard to count when they're soaring.  Anyone else on? Verify?

This is really interesting.  Still going on/ soaring at 7:40  nest time.  We should be able to get some info since there is a cam operator at the controls.  Correction - seems to be taking place beyond and west of hatchery.

Puff - It looked like a bunch of turkey vultures.  There was a ton of them soaring and circling around.  Here is a pic that I took.

Thanks for the backup Lisa.  Really unusual an occurance.  Haven't seen that since 2011-12 beginning.

While it might be unusual at the Hatchery, especially on cam, there almost always is a gathering of that size somewhere in town. Their favorite area is just over the horses' hill.
