Then as you have wonderful pics, they did some calling and tango-ing on the Skywalk before flying off to the pines on the bluff.  Love to see the mating season action.

Lisa, love the deer pics from yesterday. There were 3 deer in the snow between N2B and the road this morning about 8:00, two lying down. Some good closeups on the rewind.

Mom brought a frozen fish to N2B for breakfast today, on rewind about 8:30. She ate the whole thing, and at the end DM2 joined her.

STL - Great pics!

I thought the lil doe laying in the snow this morning was adorable.

Mom showed up on M2 this afternoon a lil after 3pm.  She flew up and down from M2 several times.  I am assuming she was trying to fish the pond.

Squirrel activity at N1 as it gets daylight this morning. When the color cam returns, Mom is in her maple.  No sign that they "met up" as yet!

STL   :o   a trio of squirrels.  Guess those critters skedattled before Mom saw them.
Thanks for the photo update.

STL - Love the pics of the squirrels.  I was watching this morning, and I swear it looked like one of the squirrels was trying to get them back into their nest, and not be out in the open.

Morning pics from Decorah - Mom arrived on the Y, started to vocalize and you could hear DM2 vocalizing too.  DM2 was spotted behind some branches above Mom.  Mom flew off first, and headed downstream and DM2 followed.  Both were seen soaring West of N1 where it curves, then turned and headed back towards the NE direction.

Great pics, everyone. Mom may have rejected DM2's advances, but the days are getting longer. With more sunlight, her hormones will kick in, and her mood will change. If we're lucky, someone will get a video of her literally "shaking her tail feathers" at him. There will be eggs, but, sadly, we won't get to see them.  :(

A lil after 10:30am Mom and DM2 were on the Y, and then Mom flew down to N1 and a short time later DM2 joined her.  He put a few of the sticks in his beak, but did not move them.
