From rewind, a lil over an hour ago Mom fishes the pond and returns to N2B with a fish to eat.

Lisa/T40 great captures and info.   Thanks.

I watched same vid on Rewind, Talon locking is pretty cool to watch, the air to air combat bald eagle style.  I think this is also called  the 'cartwheel'.

A quick visit from Mom this morning.  She was eating leftover frozen fish, that she left by the stream on 12/27/21.

Many thanks to all who provided the excellent pics and videos of eagle life. The aerial displays are so impressive!  8)
I fear, however, that Mom and DM2 are just using N1 and N2B as picnic tables. There are nestorations going on somewhere else.  :'(

Two eagles were soaring over the retention pond and raceways a lil bit ago.  One landed on the side of the retention pond, and I am pretty sure grabbed a small fish and ate it quickly, then headed back in the direction of N3.

Seems NB2 has become Mom and DM2's favorite fly-in restaurant. Always good to see them, even if it is eating and fleeting. Hope all of you are well and wish you a healthy and grand 2022.

Wonderful pics over the last few days. Thanks to the cam ops who make them possible!
