A few afternoon pics from Decorah - Some birdy was flying over the retention pond, not sure if it was the same birdy but someone landed on the Y with a fish.  Cam ops spotted another birdy perched in a tree under the bluffs.

From rewind this morning - Around 8:50am, cam ops had spotted an eagle, and was trying to follow it. It looked like at one point two eagles locked talons (2nd pic). I thought I saw a total of 4 eagles in all.

LISA, found what you were looking at on rewind.  There were 3 flying and 1 sitting.  One of the BE's was not welcomed.  Good chase and talon locked footage.

jaspurr - I thought that was pretty cool, the talon locking.

Mom came brought a squirrel to N2B for lunch, ate a bit of it and exited the nest toward the bluffs.

DM2 flew in shortly after Mom exited the nest, and finished up the squirrel.  When he was done, he headed back in the direction of N3.

STL - I heard that too and had wondered if it was Mom, or someone else looking to steal the meal.  He kept looking like someone was out there.
