HM was perched on T1 this morning, left there and headed across the filed behind N2B where she perched in tree, then flew out.

Love those icy, misty pics from this morning.  Wonder if the camera is turned on at N2B, anybody know?

Looks like HD and HM are molting some downy white feathers.

Today I am out of bed and dressed for the first time in several days. It's not Covid, but this thing has teeth!
Firstly, thanks to all the talented people who post pics with captions because I still can't ID our Hatchery pair. Also we haven't been able to see the moon in days due to cloudy skies or rain.
Has anyone noticed bonding? It won't be long before HM's "window of fertility" opens, and HD really needs to up his game. It did seem that he was willing to share food with her (or she stole it), and that is a good sign. She needs to be well-nourished to meet the high caloric demands of egg production.
Linda M. - That cartoon made me laugh so hard I started coughing again! It reminds me of decades ago when hubs and I decided to put up wall paper (things like that and changing a tire, fixing a toilet, traveling with just paper maps, etc., should be mandatory before you're issued a marriage license). We have so much to learn from eagles, even first-timers like HM and HD.

Well I can't say I've noticed bonding. But, then I'm not watching like Lisa or Ginger, STL or T40.

I have noted two attempts at copulation, and that was in Oct. 

I was talking with someone earlier today, and we were saying, was HM trying to teach HD a lesson yesterday when she brought in that whopper of a fish.  She ate half and left some for him.  Was she trying to say....this is how you share, not swallow the fish down whole, so there is none for me.
