Wish I had a few more coins in my pocket.  I wonder why they sent it to me.  Even today, with my little Hemi on the interstate, I can feel the power just waiting for the old lady to give it more. I wish. . . .

I know - I'll get myself an old ragged piece of cardboard and make a sign I can hold up on the street asking for alms for the new car fund.  Mine is 13 years old ya' know.  Get it while you still can.

Jumbo and I have some SW USA Charger speedometer infractions that have grandfathered out.   

This very rocket ship still exists in great shape in great hands despite it's Hemi and Hurst shifter. 

Somewhere between 400 - 600 ever made.

That ride.

The only production car I ever did true "wheelies" in.

A few pics from yesterday afternoon - HM on T1, and HD below the bluffs doing a lil fishing in the stream below

That's Trout Run Road feeding in from the opposite direction -I call it from south to north past the hatchery.  The board (alias kiosk) and benches were mostly funded by donations when we lost little eaglets.  The setup is between the road a hatchery pods.

Across the road from the kiosk is located N1.   Who ever designed the plat for the hatchery area used an older pic done before this was constructed.

Correction!  There is a layout of the hatchery area that is found on the Decorah page that does indicate the kiosk area.

Yes. I do remember the donation drive for some sort of a memorial for those eaglets that were 'lost'.
Now I have a better understanding of how everything is laid out---what's what and where.

Lisa thank you for snaps of HM on T1, and HD .     That white helmet sure makes them easy to spot amongst the trees and all.

Just a bit of additional info - Phyl

In 1971 I had the Dodge Charger.  BTW 420 hemi engine, black, sold it to my brother at about 120,000 miles 6 years later.   He had it over 250,000 miles.

My 2009 is a black Dodge Challenger - twin of the Charger.  They switched styling.  Charger is the 4 door; Challenger now the two door.  And, 1971 beats out the horsepower.  Was 420 in Charger, now 380 in Challenger.  Nowhere near the 800+ in the Hellcat.

One final point - I started driving in 1963 (?); to date I've had one speeding ticket (2012?).  It is carefully watched, too, by people and PD.  Our leader John also had a 1972 Charger.  But, he admitted to a heavy foot.

I think I read in chat that, T1=Tree1 is the tree to the side of the nest tree.  It seems to be a favorite that they perch in.

Phyl - I've always thought an eagle's white head was the lousiest camo possible. Google says 1) a white head really is great camo against the sky when hunting, and 2) a white head is like a flashing red light and warns other eagles and would-be predators of their presence.
