Lori, great catch of the owl swooping at HM in the dark.

Right at daybreak with the color cam going on and off, one of the Hatchery eagles was in a dead tree near N2B, as if giving it the once-over. The eagle flew off to unknown place.

Morning pics from Decorah - Thank you, Lori for the heads up on the owl bothering HD, HM behind the leaves, HM left from behind the leaves, and headed in the direction of behind N2B - she was next seen on the dead tree by N2B

Love the B&W pic of HM this morning.

   I saw it just now
   Go back a few minutes rewind and you can see
   a cottonwood tree growing in N2B
   Lots of tall grass
   Creek clearing down below
   Thought about making this a poem
   But like all my others
   it really blows   ::) ;) :)

I think the corn stalks and cottonwood sapling look pretty growing on N2B.  We shouldn't be too surprised by the corn stalks growing on the nest. Just think of how many corn husk bouquets were brought to MOM by DAD and DM2.

Looks like a beautiful day in Decorah, and beautiful eagles, too! Thanks for the pics, Lisa.
Eburg, I liked your poem. ;D

HM and HD have spent most of the afternoon hanging out on the Y (HM) and on a limb just above N1 (HD).

Lisa, the geese flying --  what a great pic!
