Old Guy -- thanks for the pics posted in the Beak Room, and for the extra text!

Looks like the creek is still running pretty full and muddy today.  Makes fishing difficult, so maybe the eagles have gone elsewhere for breakfish & lunch.

Just got caught up on the past three screens of new info and photos.  Love the tracking updates.  Nice to learn that there is a new adult hanging around, and any confusion I may have experienced has already been solved/recognized.  As we learn how many possible offspring seem to return to the natal nest at some point (like the "intruder" that helped protect Decorah eaglets, and mom let it, after Decorah dad disappeared in 2018), it makes me wonder if we are sometimes seeing the presence/visit of a mature offspring produced from one of the hatchery nests in past years.  Some of the "intruders" seem to have an attitude of comfort and familiarity in the area.

Beautiful morning sunrise, Hatchery Dad on a favorite morning perch, and Hatchery Mom on N1 this afternoon

As John said at the ATF event, if you aren't comfortable calling them Mom & Dad yet, you can call them Hatchery Miss (HM) and Hatchery Dude (HD) until they become a Mom and Dad.  :D

I am DELIGHTED to simply call them Mom and Dad!
I wanted to name them!
I guess I was just teasing

Cam op panned some AWESOME scenery this morning!

 Dad tweeted -
HAPPY FLYDAY!

Personally (I know! Nobody asked! ;)), HM and HD are gonna have to do for me, because the "names" of "Mom" and "Dad" are already taken.

I'm with you, T40 about not calling the new ones Mom or Dad. But I'm OK with HD and HM, and the longer versions of those new names.

So which hanging branch is the one that HD seems to like early in the mornings? The one where we can see his body but not his head!

Cam ops found a sparrow for us to identify, about 7:00 AM on the rewind.

And an adult BE on the Y, closeup at 11:30, but is it HM or HD or the interloper again??   ???

Here are a few maps of our wandering eagles past and present.
1st map is where D36 has been so far this year.
2nd map is D27's summer flight up into Ontario this year and D1's (The Diva) flight up to Polar Bear Provincial Park in 2012.
3rd map depicts the same just zoomed in with Lat/Lon lines. Each degree of Latitude = about 69 Miles.

The northern most ping from the Diva that I could could find was 55.0850° N on 06/24/13.
That's about 915 miles if an eagle flew in a straight line from N2B.

The northern most ping from D27 (so far this year) is 55.8748° N on 07/18/22.
That's about 873 miles if an eagle flew in a straight line from N2B.

What drew D27 & the Diva to different sides of way Northern Ontario?
I don't know, but I sure wish I could ask them both.  ;D
